Ahem.

Was waiting for the attacks against Meadows, but was expecting it in verbal form.

I’m sure all the PPs claiming it was fake will be here soon to apologize.

No one claimed the video was fake. I stated I wanted video because the rattling of papers tells nothing. If the document is marked classified, they could be old papers of a now defunked plan. Just because something is marked classified doesn’t mean it is. We learned that from Comey re: Hillary

Forgive me, transcripts re: fake.

Transcripts of Trump incriminating himself released.
Trumpsters: Transcripts aren't good enough. We need audio.
Audio of Trump incriminating himself released.
Trumptsters: Audio isn't good enough. We need video.
Video of Trump incriminating himself released.
Trumpsters: Video isn't good enough. We need it in 3D.
3D video of Trump incriminating himself released.
Trumpsters: 3D video isn't good enough. We need humans witnesses corroborating the scene. The 3D video could be AI bots.

Bottom Line: No brainwashed Trumpster will ever believe anything bad about their dear leader, Don Trump Un.

Meanwhile the rest of us know that, pending them finding a jury of even semi intelligent adults, he’s cooked.

Joking aside, they aren't missing the obstruction. They are choosing to willfully ignore it. The truth is that the security powers that be are willing to work with you if you honestly screw up and come to them with a mea culpa. Not only was Trump taking the documents not a screw up, but intentional, he then chose to lie, have others lie on his behalf, and hide them.

People like to point at the Reality Winner case. She's not in jail because she accidentally took a document out of the building that got mixed in her personal stuff. She's in jail because she removed it intentionally.

Reality Winner had no ability to declassify documents. Trump did and no, he doesn’t have to ask permission of anyone to do so.

But he didn’t declassify them. And they have him on tape admitting he didn’t.

LOL. No, they don’t. They claim they do. CNN has the exclusive dontchaknow

Hmm...this dude denied the tape existed.

At the time they claimed they did. Now they have a tape which isn’t terribly incriminating. The allegations is that he shared classified information. We can’t see what he showed

I mean, he only admitted several elements of the crime he's charged with. But other than that, not very incriminating.

He described it. That’s legally the same as showing it.

Yeah, just link to that highly classified document! You can't do it? Trump must be innocent then!

So if he showed a presidential route of his from the past with classified markings, is it still classified?

Yes, of course, if it hasn’t been declassified. Even if the route is old news there could be agent names, phone numbers, operational details, etc. in the document that should be redacted.

You are incorrect, you know that right?

The standard is beyond a reasonable doubt. So if I’m on a jury, ‘could be’ doesn’t count. Ditto if prosecution shows a heavily redacted document they claim is the same on in an audio tape. I have no idea if it’s the same one or not.
