What do you think about tattoos?

Compared to the past, it seems like lots of young adults today have at least some tattoo around them. Curious what other people think about them, though I think its a solid 50/50 where people either like or dislike them.

I don’t like them. They used to be edgy and cool. Now they are just ridiculous.

Tacky.

You must be new here. 95% of DCUM posters think tattoos are low class.

It depends on the person's vibe and age.
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.

I think they can be interesting on other people and I hope they enjoy them, but they’re not for me. I wonder how they’ll hold up over the years to fading, weight gain, loss of muscle tone, wrinkles, etc., and whether the wearer has taken that into account.

I’m thinking of getting one to make me look younger! - 62-year-old woman

I'd never get one but I don't care what others do. Some are cool and some are bad.

I love me a nice tramp stamp

If hidden and only visible aux intimes, potentially sexy.
If unified, thoughtful, and extremely well done, potentially artistic.
If dotted around like every time you got a paycheck from McDonalds you went and got a $75 permanent sticker you chose off a peeling laminated sheet... well...

Yuck

Why imagine?? Plenty of those around, on full display.

I'm 48 and don't have any. I don't really like them, but basically it wouldn't put me off someone unless they were covered in them, or had them on their hands, face or neck.

So like, in my eyes, Harry Styles is too much with all his tattoos all over his torso and arms. But Austin Butler, with one tattoo on his wrist is totally still attractive despite having a tattoo.
