Man asked woman to leash her dog in a public park -- she called the police on him

Someone else might have just punched him in the face. Countless others no doubt walked or ran away in the past. I’m not sure what anyone had gained through this story though. Then his sister using the term “Karen” which is just divisive - intentionally so.

NP- It doesn’t necessarily, but if you don’t recognize at least the possibility that : if Mr Cooper had been a middle aged charmingly nerdy white birder who asked Ms Cooper to leash her dog, her response would probably have been extremely different, you’re dismissing the reality of the racism that many of us have to negotiate every time we step outdoors.

OK, but the point PP is making is that this guy was not charmingly nerdy, he was geared up for a fight. The outcome may have been very different if he was charmingly nerdy. C Cooper thought A Cooper was a safe enough target for a lesson, and A Cooper thought he was a safe enough target to fight back by threatening the power of the state.

And the point that I am making is the strong likelihood that if Ms Cooper had not been a racist entitled harpy, she would have recognized that

What kind of maniac brings an unleashed dog she is abusing to a birdwatching site where it is prohibited to go off the path and to bring unleashed animals? Even cyclists must get down and walk with their cycles in that area.
