Yes, I actually did! In fact, I have gone quite a big beyond a Master's Degree and am a voracious reader. But, the person who really taught me to think critically and pay attention to resources was my high school American History teacher who was also my Econ teacher. She related current events to history, She required a "term paper" which demanded extensive research from primary sources. This was pre-internet and I spent hours in the public library doing research. Another thing she did was bring in newspaper articles and had us underline adjectives so that we could learn how the reporter or opinion writer was influencing us. Another reading requirement was The Hidden Persuaders. For those who don't know, it is a book about the advertising industry and its influence. It also applies to politics. This background served me well in college and beyond. It still serves me well. Sounds like you think that if others report things you don't like that they are not legitimate. Sad. |
General Flynn, Mike Flynn.
What they did to him was a disgrace. An incredible disgrace, that I can tell you. Said he was guilty. They said he pleaded guilty, so many lies. It's disgraceful if you want to know the truth. |
And, Steele started a totally false rumor about Flynn having an affair. Yes, it's been public knowledge, but not very many people have paid attention to it. |
DP So, just to point out...... The RedState article takes quotes and excerpts from testimony and transcripts and lays out an argument that Susan Rice may well NOT have been present at a meeting she claims to have attended. IOW - it uses PRIMARY SOURCES to make the argument. Had you even looked at the piece, you would have known that. You don't have to agree with the author's questions and conclusions, but you also don't get to call it "not legitimate" because you don't like it. |
Maybe she was there, maybe she wasn't. It begs the question. Sally Yates does not mention her being present. Rice does not mention the meeting in her sworn testimony, in fact she said she was unaware of an investigation of Flynn. I don't know. But, I do wonder and there is nothing wrong with reading a different point of view. I'm willing to bet the person that thinks I did not go to high school is a person who believes that Trump was colluding with Russians. |
Not a rumor. He had an affair, there were other witnesses. Who signs their letters Misha Flynn????? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

1. Inadvertently reveals that the FBI had another source corroborate Steele’s assertion that Flynn had an affair with Svetlana Lokhova. 2. Posted an exclusive picture of Flynn courtesy of.... Svetlana Lokhova. |
Where does it say this? |
No, he didn't. You probably think there was Russian collusion too. The rumor was started by Stefan Halper, a paid operative for the CIA. https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-39863781 https://dailycaller.com/2019/04/04/cambridge-halper-flynn-spygate/ |
It doesn't. PP clearly does not know how to read. |
Read the article. It is pretty plainly written and suggests multiple sources for this "rumor." |
And, those "sources" are circular in nature..... Please cite the parts that there are multiple sources. |
The only thing I see is that Kramer testified that Steele told him that he "suspected" Flynn was having an extramarital affair. In other words, Kramer was able to confirm that he heard a rumor. |
There is a source, and a second source. Two sources. |
Amazing. The Circuit Court has taken up the petition for a writ of mandamus and has given Judge Sullivan ten days to respond.
That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. And there's been plenty of crazy already in this case. |
