Right but they playing under NVA which is part of Loudoun.

The amount of drama caused by these people to kids is unforgivable. So I, for one, am enjoying the parade of failure. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. As for GFR, I see three RL playoff teams, another few that just missed, and most of the rest with winning records. Seems pretty good to me!

I think you underestimate how much ML’s failed putsch generated ill-will from the parents of kids whose season was thrown into chaos for no good reason other than his ego and bro-entitled view he could do better.

No one is worried. But every parent on my DC’s team would enjoy watching this monument to his ego fail. Especially with the combination of preachy self-righteousness, dirty underhanded tactics, and incompetence.

The best kind of schadenfreud.

We can not care and not be worried while still enjoying what an absolute joke Riverbend has turned out to be. Anyone who has any clue about the Nova soccer scene knew this would be an epic failure.

Our neighbor used to work at NCS. He said nearly every season, some fool trying to start a sports club or training business would show up and try to get field space and be baffled that there would be no turf space say, in Vienna from 6-9 pm on Tues and Thurs. Lots of "I'm a taxpayer!" type whining.
