This resort is a huge party resort with lots of alcohol and drugs and all night binges and multiday parties.

It seems most likely she was intoxicated and drowned. The guy was also intoxicated and has only blurry memories of what happened - probably blacked out.

In Florida you can get arrested for swimming when the red flags are up. The life guards do not want to drown while saving your stupid drunk self. In the DR they don't care.

Moderator, pre existing conditions is one thing. Another could be if she has any other stuff going on in her life prior to vacation. Not saying there's something but YOU knew that already.

But in Florida you can be shot dead if you make a u turn in a driveway you don't own when you accidentally make a wrong turn.
