Of course not, but that's the only way to attack the success of Asians in selective, objective admissions processes. Claim that working hard and preparing is somehow cheating and corrupt. |
Why did the Coalition for TJ not speak out about the Free Meals Questions scandal? Or did they I just missed it? |
It was the best thing they ever did because it allowed them to weed out the cheaters. Personally, I thought the free meals question was a stroke of genius. |
Yes, it's true, and that's a direct quote from an article linked above. |
Ya one is a paid lobbyist for the test prep industry and the other two are working on behalf of charters like Hillsdale which is a big part of the GOP's indoctrination into Christian Nationlism. |
Classic. White dude throwing Asians under a bus to protect his own privilege. That’s a shocker. |
+1 |
Next stop, FCPS opens its first Hillsdale Charters and TJ announces a partnership with the prep industry which is even more expensive. |
Meh. The TJ AAG can't contain themselves bashing Youngkin and claiming that he's looking to destroy public schools and/or line the pockets of test prep companies. It's a nice way to distract attention from the fact that, more than any other group on the scene, they are responsible for getting FCPS to prioritize TJ-related issues over the 200+ other schools in FCPS for the past two years, at a time when getting kids back into schools, remediating learning loss, and dealing with the capacity and overcrowding elsewhere in FCPS should have been far higher priorities than upending TJ admissions and repeatedly insulting Asian families in the process.
They are narcissistic jerks, and the only saving grace is that their antics are probably going to help bring down some ineffective lightweights on the School Board next year. |
Why is Youngkim against public schools? |
This way they could identify a cheaters and help detoxify TJ. |
The TJ Admissions office did not. There are plenty of kids whose parents just signed the online free meals form and did not have to produce documentation. Some cheaters were removed, but many were not. |
This is not true. We fill out the form every year and have to provide corresponding government provided snap information. |
The conspiracy nuts are trying to mislead people about this. I guess they believe doing so helps their case. As another poster suggested, I think this was a stroke of genius since it allowed the administration to weed out more of the toxic cheaters that have really hurt TJ's culture in recent years. |
No documentation is required, only a case number for applying for FARMS program. |
