TJ admissions is verifying FARMS eligibility and will reevaluate applications if status cannot be verified which May result in a different admissions outcome |
According to? |
Email was sent to applicants that answered yes to the free and reduced price meal eligibility. Deadline is Friday 6/10 at 4 PM to provide specific documentation. |
So those cheaters can’t cheat.
Seems like there was an ~8% increase in ED from class of 2025 to class of 2026. 40-50 cheaters? |
Dang! Guess you really shouldn’t have misrepresented your family on the application. |
No verification was done for 2025 so who knows if the class of 2025 really has that percentage of FARMS |
Yup! Wonder how this will shake up the waitlist movement |
Kids weren’t in school to receive free meals in fall of 2021 so no cheaters then. |
Does anyone know many points was saying yes to FARMS worth? |
90 points |
The question was still asked if you are ELIGIBLE for free/reduced price meals and the government has always had specific criteria for qualifying |
How many total possible points? |
We received free meals in the fall of 2021. My kids have received free meals from March 2020 until today. This fall, we will go back to paying for lunches. Are we currently eligible to receive free lunches? Yes, we are, just as everyone else is. |
My god...what a s_show of a process. |
Well I don’t think the fact that every kid received free meals is going to suffice for TJ admissions. Documentation from a very specific list must be provided to verify eligibility for FARMS for purposes of TJ admissions. |
