TJ admissions now verifying free and reduced price meal status for successful 2026 applicants

Seems like there was an ~8% increase in ED from class of 2025 to class of 2026.

The question was still asked if you are ELIGIBLE for free/reduced price meals and the government has always had specific criteria for qualifying

We received free meals in the fall of 2021. My kids have received free meals from March 2020 until today. This fall, we will go back to paying for lunches. Are we currently eligible to receive free lunches? Yes, we are, just as everyone else is.

We received free meals in the fall of 2021. My kids have received free meals from March 2020 until today. This fall, we will go back to paying for lunches. Are we currently eligible to receive free lunches? Yes, we are, just as everyone else is.


Well I don’t think the fact that every kid received free meals is going to suffice for TJ admissions. Documentation from a very specific list must be provided to verify eligibility for FARMS for purposes of TJ admissions.
