They are all horrible. Most are way too far to the left, have ridiculous progressive wish lists that they can't fund, and will get stomped on by Trump.
Cuomo is sketchy. But I will likely end up putting him second. Based on the little I know of him I will put Whitney Tilson first but he has zero chance. However, with ranked choice voting it is not a wasted ballot so why not. He is a moderate Dem, which is what we need. Great profile of Jessica Tisch in NYT recently - I wish she would run. |

She could be sitting in the Hamptons eating bon bons but instead is working her tail off to make NYC a better place. The Times usually pushes the most woke candidates so I am glad they profiled someone more centrist. And she is worth profiling - she is a rising star in the city. She admits getting her foot in the door because of who she is (as well as her degrees) but she is doing the work. The class envy is so low class. I can't stand people who hate others just because they have money. Who do you prefer? |

He was the Republican nominee last time. On a few issues I actually kind of agree with the guy and sort of preferred him to Maya Wiley and other super libs living in fantasy land. But in general he is wackadoodle crazy. Jim Walden is running as an independent and isn't bad, but has no chance because no one knows who he is. I liked Garcia who ran last time. Wish she would run again. Really liked Ray McGuire last time but he had zero chance. |

| The only passable choice is Cuomo, although I don’t like that crazy Bill Ackman gave him money. As others have mentioned, the other candidates are LWNJ. When will the powers that be in both parties wake up to the fact the no one wants these extremist candidates anymore. Any centrists out there? Bueller? Bueller? |

Interesting piece in the Times today about all of the Dems. Lots of long wish lists (many of which I support) but almost no ideas about how they will pay for all of this. Living in fantasy land.
Still bracing myself to vote for Cuomo. It pains me to do so but I love NYC and he is our best hope. |

| Cuomo. The rest are terrible with terrible policies. Education is my issue and they will dumb down public school and end any sort of testing to get into the specialized high schools. That’s a big nope from me |
