yes.

while coaches are working on things, it does show what sort of talent level the club has and how they will play.

The coaches are not putting players in a position to lose. These are high level clubs with a majority of the same players from last season. These coaches are not re-inventing the wheel here.

Don't kid yourself.

If you are not with either club, yes it is sad.

If your club doesn’t play either club it is sad.

1. It is a pre-season scrimmage
2. Your DD isn’t affiliated with either club
3. U15’s never played GFR boys. Your facts are wrong.

Again the fascination is odd.

+1. And coming here to post about it to MU parents to really odd. Tell us more about how the majority of players are the same from last season.

RU is not a great gauge.

VDA will take a step back this year as well at that age group.

The MA ECNL teams are very weak.

Saw a PP mention FCV playing RU this week club wide. I checked and it is on the calendar on the website. THOSE results will be telling.

I saw the FCV U15s had a friendly against the U15 boys from GF. Wonder how that turned out for those boys!

You are simply a freak for digging that much on how girls are playing soccer. These are not professionals and your acting like what they do, how they play and who they play is an entitled right to know

Where does your kid play and what scrimmages has she done?

CYA and none. She'll be trying out for MU or FCV next year.

Nothing about scrimmages is telling and much of your info is wrong.

I really don’t understand what the fascination is with these score lines but it is pretty sad to wonder how clubs preseason games are.

Being interested in the local area clubs and how well they do against each other is sad? ok.

And the info isn't wrong. They are cold facts. MU was next to last in the previous season except for LISC. RU has 2-3 known quality players.

VDA - well that club and those coaches are horrible. I know first hand of their antics and it is shameful.

Finally, the schedule for FCV DA teams is on their website. It is in fact posted.

So not sure what info is inaccurate for you.

Where does your DD play?

I might be interested in the club.

So if you could tell us all that as well as any scrimmage results so that I can determine the landscape we would all appreciate that.

THANKS!!

Why does the MU thread always turn into this?

Just STFU and let the kids play!

And why is a CYA parent commenting on a MU thread?

Because anyone can comment anywhere.

If you dont entertain the comment it will die. As it should.

So we should all ignore the comments we don't like?

Makes for a lively discussion!

Well then I’ll climb out on a limb and presume you’re the 08 parent who has been concerned about the viability of MU in earlier postings.

Here are your decision matrices:

Metro folds after a year driving GFR kids to FCV and other clubs.

Metro doesn’t fold and is able to field a 07 and a 08 team.

Metro doesn’t fold but can’t field a 07 team but has enough 07’s that a blended 07 and 08 team play as the 07 team and again not fielding a team in the Pilot age group that is not required.

None of those things are at relevant to how scrimmages of teams two years up matter to your situation. Also, the viability of metro really won’t be known until the spring anyway so all your handwringing about scrimmages is all for nothing. You would do better to see how your DD’s team fares against GFR and FCV to gauge where she would fit in on either roster if she were to tryout this coming spring.

Step 1 is to tryout and get an offer. Step two, if you are provided a choice that is when you talk to parents and coaches AT the field and not here in order to make a decision.

Talking to the parents at one of your league games will give you a better idea of the team as well as the club overall.

Worrying about scrimmage results of U16’s is simply a waste of time and is just not relevant.

It's all irrelevant.

All of it.

Use it for what it is and move one. It will be over in a few years and no one will remember or care.

Whoa. I stopped by to see who's posting what and look at this. MU, FCV and scrimmages, VDA scandals and more!

Everyone is still at it.

This site is fully entertaining from MU defensive parents to FCV gloating over beating up on GF boys!

Good luck to all this season. I'll stop by in a couple weeks to see how this turns out!

Their rosters will be posted on the DA site just like all the other DA rosters are posted.

You are not very bright are you?

Wow. So rude and aggressive.

Yes, they will be posted on the DA site. Not sure why some show up and others don't. I would guess it is up to the club admin to complete some of this, but don't know.
