Not PP, but doesn't change the fact that MU is bottom of the barrel in the Atlantic Division next to Long Island SC! RU is not a great gauge. VDA will take a step back this year as well at that age group. The MA ECNL teams are very weak. Saw a PP mention FCV playing RU this week club wide. I checked and it is on the calendar on the website. THOSE results will be telling. I saw the FCV U15s had a friendly against the U15 boys from GF. Wonder how that turned out for those boys!
You are simply a freak for digging that much on how girls are playing soccer. These are not professionals and your acting like what they do, how they play and who they play is an entitled right to know Where does your kid play and what scrimmages has she done?
CYA and none. She'll be trying out for MU or FCV next year.
Well then I’ll climb out on a limb and presume you’re the 08 parent who has been concerned about the viability of MU in earlier postings. Here are your decision matrices: Metro folds after a year driving GFR kids to FCV and other clubs. Metro doesn’t fold and is able to field a 07 and a 08 team. Metro doesn’t fold but can’t field a 07 team but has enough 07’s that a blended 07 and 08 team play as the 07 team and again not fielding a team in the Pilot age group that is not required. None of those things are at relevant to how scrimmages of teams two years up matter to your situation. Also, the viability of metro really won’t be known until the spring anyway so all your handwringing about scrimmages is all for nothing. You would do better to see how your DD’s team fares against GFR and FCV to gauge where she would fit in on either roster if she were to tryout this coming spring. Step 1 is to tryout and get an offer. Step two, if you are provided a choice that is when you talk to parents and coaches AT the field and not here in order to make a decision. Talking to the parents at one of your league games will give you a better idea of the team as well as the club overall. Worrying about scrimmage results of U16’s is simply a waste of time and is just not relevant.
