I was thinking that the teason the uncle didn't accept OP's friend request is that this is a pattern - that the BF has done this to a number of women and that uncle's been contacted by others in the past and is trying to stay out of his toxic nephew's messes.

Weirdly fascinating soap opera drama. Any explanation would sound ridiculous. I kept checking for the first 10 pages because I genuinely believed that something might've happened to Bobcat Boyfriend. The other 75 pages though? No good explanation.

Does anyone else remember the Lululemon murder thread? It had a similar trajectory of sad worried posting, people suggesting that the surviving victim made it up/was in on it, people getting really mad at those people, and then the skeptics being proved right. The UVA rape thread too.

For those who've located the boyfriend, what does he look like? Since he clearly wasn't in a wealth making career, I can't imagine OP would be this obsessed with someone so far away who didn't look like a CK model at the bare minimum.
