She picked Tim

This. Feeling politically homeless right now. I can’t bring myself to vote for either extreme so will probably sit this one out.

You’re not alone, if it makes you feel any better

Where in the dialectic does "Justice Now" fit? Thesis, antithesis, or synthesis?

lol-is that who he is? That guy is dumb as rocks. If that’s the conservative thought leader, the GOP is in even more trouble than I thought

Well, he's no Ben Shapiro

Have you ever listened to Ben Shapiro? You may not like what he has to say, but he’s very bright. And quite sharp.

He's a dumb person's idea of a smart person. Also, he looks funny. Head down, constantly bobbing.

Yup. If you like Jordan Peterson, then Ben Shapiro will probably seem very intelligent to you.

Same here. This will be my DD’s first election and she wants to write someone in.

The democrats who were making a huge stink about Shapiro and Israel ARE anti semitic. He is just as moderate as every other candidate but he was singled out because he’s Jewish. That is the textbook definition of anti semitism.

And Kamala’s husband being Jewish doesn’t count for anything and you know it. All it means is that Kamala is not an anti semite.

OMG enough with the whining! Start your own Sour Grapes thread if you're so upset Shapiro didn't make the cut!

You had to know Kamala would never pick a Jew.

She picked on to marry. WTF is wrong with you?

Marrying a Jewish person isn't necessarily a strategic measure. However, finding a moderate Dem in support of Israel is indeed strategic. I don't know how smart her VP is, as I don't know much about him. But she is trapped, as many Ds are moving away from their support of Israel. I believe Ukraine woke many up to exactly how much $ the US dishes out to other countries at the expense of our own people in need.

Oh you sweet summer child. If that money wasn't going to American companies to supply Ukraine, Congress isn't going to fund lunch programs with it. Haven't you been reading? That would be leftist, Marxist socialism. The worst kind of Marxist socialism!

Full blown. It's all trans in bathrooms and George Floyd/riots! That's all they got. Wait until they start hearing him speak! This is going to be delicious.

The riots and overall breakdown of law and order in our cities is where the Democrats are most vulnerable. Expect to hear about Kamala’s San Francisco and Tim’s Minneapolis nonstop for the next three months.

Did January 6th not happen? I don't understand how GOP are so concerned about some riots and not others. It's weird.

Bingo

All riots should be equally disdained regardless of the issue behind it because more often than not it's some nut job extremist thugs who don't actually care about the issue behind it....but as such should also be equally prosecuted and equally thought of as wrong regardless of the issue. It's never ok to destroy property regardless of the issue or topic period.

I agree. I read an article about The riots in MN and poor reaction time. Walz was very honest about it all and how it was not handled well. Now contrast that with Trump who still thinks January 6th was a good thing.

True - but I also know many Dems who think the BLM riots were a good thing too.

Dems supported the peaceful protests and criticized where the looting and property damage took place.

Bull$hit. Dems insisted that the riots were peaceful - even when they weren’t - and excused the abhorrent behavior of the thugs involved because apparently, it was “for a good cause.” Stop the constant gaslighting.

The protests were peaceful. That is what the Dems supported.
The rioting and looting was not. And the Dems did not support that.

The rioting and looting, look it up, was instigated principally by right wingers.

This makes MAGAs mad because Ben Shapiro tells them that putting the toilet seat down is misandry.
why?

I don't believe you are what you say you are. But, even if you view this as a "lesser evil" situation (it's not, Harris/Walz is a good option); but even if you viewed it as a "lesser evil" situation, the moral thing to do is to vote in a way that helps protect your friends and neighbors from the greater evil.

I think Harvard Law probably disagrees with you. As would UCLA and Phi Beta Kappa. Where did you go to school?

Like Walz, I went to a state college. I'm all for a good education, but book learning isn't everything.

Many swing state voters see MN as a very left leaning state politically and this will reinforce the idea that Harris is too far left for America.

Exactly. How does a Marxist ticket win over America?

How does a dictator ticket who wants to force girls to have her rapist's babies win? Appeal to rapists, I guess.

This. And Shapiro is giving an awesome speech. For all you “homeless independents” - you should listen for yourselves to the “extreme” ideas he’s touting. They’re quite uplifting and optimistic. Much better than downer Debby Trump/Vance.

NP. It's always funny to see the party that decries elitism constantly fall back in Ivy credentials, like Harvard has never produced a dumb person.

Because real men pee standing up. And being expected to cater to women by putting the seat down afterward is oppression. Evidence that the alpha male is being turned into a beta, exploited by hypergamous women for his resources.
