Has Yellowjackets gotten to weird to be good?

The more they increase the supernatural element the less I'm liking this show. The Mean Girls morphing into Lord of the Flies was great and the crazy ladies trying to cover up their dirty secrets was good (particularly Misty) but all of the wilderness worship needs to pay off at some point.

Lost was great up until the final season when they didn't really wrap it up very well. Holy crap moment after holy crap moment, season after season.

But they're just now laying the groundwork about it not being supernatural. Mining and whatever gasses were released in the process caused some of it. On reddit someone posted a clip of fracking noises that sounded a lot like the crazy noises they were hearing.The man with no eyes is a trauma-induced hallucination based on viewing of a commercial as a child. I'm happy it's all starting to make more sense. Just wish the adult timeline was as interesting as the young one.

Yes, this season has just gotten plain stupid. I want to smack Lottie with her constant bullying of Travis, insisting he keep drinking mushrooms and hallucinating.

I know lots of people have lauded Melanie Lynskey, but I think she's a bad actress. She always appears to be *acting,* if that makes sense. Very annoying delivery.

I’m just a little younger than these characters are supposed to be and I love the music and the throwback stunt casting, but the characters have all become loathsome in uninteresting ways. I feel like there’s no one to root for and I don’t care what happens next.

They are definitely hinting that Mel is going to appear. Pretty sure that Hilary Swank isn't going to play the adult version of Akilah.

I agree it's starting to click. But I definitely did not care for the visions, which were not that interesting and in fact were pretty dumb. Love Coach Ben, mainly watching with trepidation to see how his storyline turns out.

DP. I love Coach Ben too. Wth is wrong with Mari that she would lead all the girls to him like that?? She really has no redeeming qualities and I thought maybe she would.

Speaking of Mari, she looks so much like the adult Lottie. It's so confusing to me.
