I don't understand.. are people blind? Can't see or hear the daily deluge of stupidity? Not paying attention or gullible? |
All of the above sadly, it’s why we have Trump in the WH, well that and SCOTUS corruption. |
Too many people only get their information from the propaganda outlets, so they have no idea what is happening in the real world. |

My brother and SIL voted for him, know he is kinda terrible, and don't pay any attention to the news. Would they vote for him again today? Probably. Should they do a little homework before voting? Probably. Do they? Not really. |

I think a lot of people in the US fall in this category |
The longer they debate and talk about the big beautiful bill, the more people will turn. |
Other thread was locked but here is some context for these “bad approval” polls.
At this time during their second terms, Trump is right in the middle of Obama and Bush. Obama was 45.8% approval; Trump is at 46.5%. Bush was at 47.8%. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/approval/trump-obama-bush-second-term |
Disagree. He has gone up in approval in the most recent NPR, Morning Consult, and YouGov polls relative to where he was a week or two ago. Morning Consult has him swinging +5 relative to its last poll. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/approval/donald-trump/approval-rating All of these polls historically underweight Trump voters and were way off in Harris’ favor in 2024. |
RCP includes all the junk polls. No thanks. |
What polls were right in 2024? The “good polls” that had Trump down by 14 in Iowa? |

Now realizing? If they were such idiots seven months ago, I imagine they are still idiots now. He had a first term in which he catered to the wealthy at the expense of everybody else. What kind of idiot would think the second term would be any different? |
And that is what go us in this mess…idiots. |
