This is what will be overlooked by those who knee-jerk criticize Harry and his wife:

“This represents a vindication for the hundreds of other claimants who were strong-armed into settling without being able to get to the truth of what was done to them,” Sherborne said outside court.

Harry said he would go the distance on this because he can; he has the money and lawyers. I heard an interview with him where he said he was taking this all the way mostly because other people with less money and in a different position had to settle and couldn’t go all in. Good for him, and good for all the people he helped.

With an apology and an exborbant amount of money. He wouldn't have gotten that much if he won and would've ended up paying.

He also got an admission of illegal activities. Also this in the NGN statement: "NGN also offers a full and unequivocal apology to the Duke of Sussex for the phone hacking, surveillance and misuse of private information by journalists and private investigators instructed by them at the News of the World." Go Harry!
