“Radical Left” is not a thing - MAGA has been duped

Anonymous
maybe we can be like my mother's home country, modeled after the US and extremely conservative Catholic. Abortion is illegal under all circumstances. But a blind eye is turned to rampant cases of rape and human trafficking, many of which are western men. They impregnate adolescent girls, teenagers, who end up dealing with complications in pregnancy and up to 16 children by the time they're 21. Thanks to the radical left, they at least have free BCP for the past 9 years, to the dismay of those who think BCP is abortion too.

As usual, it is a RWNJ bringing ip the “trans movement” and pretending that it is all the left ever talks about. Lol

DP. But it is a good example of how a radical left concept grabbed ahold of democrats.
The redefinition of sex as gender identity.
Men playing women’s sports.
The rapid increase of gender dysphoria particularly among young females who were overwhelmingly struggling with other mental health issues. Children and young people undergoing medical and surgical treatment with lifelong consequences.
All of which the Democrat machine promoted.

And every time anyone even uttered a single question about it, out came the “bigot” finger pointers.

So, while it is by far not the biggest issue affecting the most people, the hubris on display was unbelievable. And it reduced the trust in the Democratic Party.

Kind of like a flat-earther uncle. You want him babysitting your kids?

The right wing talks WAY more about trans issues and trans in sports than anyone I know. Turned out there were only about 6 trans women in collegiate sports in the whole country, and the handful of trans athletes were not even remotely "dominating" their respective sports, but 6 was too many and Republicans passed something like 47 different pieces of emergency legislation at federal and state levelshot. Mean, fine, they shouldnt compete. Big whoopie. But 6 kids gunned down in their schools, 6 mass shootings in the span of mere weeks and we can't get shit. Don't pretend you care about kids, MAGA. It only ever was about bigotry. You've made that clear through your actions and inactions.

No. The left wing talks more about trans issues. All they did was gaslight half the be population with their delusional bs.

WRONG! The right wing literally made it their top legislative agenda item, with something like 47 laws passed nationally and at the state level, whereas for about all they have is stuff like "don't be a mean bigoted jerk to trans people" somewhere down below #73 in their platform.

You're ludicrous, and a liar, PP. That's not "gaslighting" - that's a fact.

Here’s where the left loses me:

You want human rights and dignity for all people except for the ones in the womb.

And I say this as someone who won’t belong to either party. I don’t see how you get to claim the moral high ground.

A pre-independently viable fetus is NOT a baby anymore than a seed is a full-fledged plant or male masturbation is wasting God's sacred life-giving sperm.

Also, I probably live in the most liberal state in the union and my son's girlfriend didn't find out she was pregnant until she was 8-9 months along. She originally went to Planned Parenthood upon a positive test pretty much assuming she was only in the 1st trimester. She was not.

My Catholic MIL said something like "this baby is a gift from God and aren't you glad he wasn't aborted" .... yeah, that was never even in the cards from the professional care standpoint. A hospital delivered that baby 5 days after she thought termination was still on the menu. It wasn't, and it never was. You don't need to go to Planned Parenthood just to "get an abortion." It's really just the fastest way to get into gynecological care for women without a PCP or needing to go through insurance referrals. Time is off the essence, and it's respected by PP on either side of the timeline.

If you think God comes into the equation, I can assure you God definitely wasn't there when that baby was conceived.

I’m the PP you’re responding to. I’m not remotely religious. My reason for distrusting the left comes from the discrepancies; you can’t claim to love and support all people while simultaneously calling abortion “health care”. The procedure kills a human.

And yes, a fetus is a human. My brain can’t do the mental gymnastics necessary to discredit that child’s life. Science shows life begins at conception; those cells have separate DNA. So there’s no “my body, my choice” going on here. It’s quite literally someone else’s body.

History is full of groups we’ve marginalized and discredited. Those among us who aren’t born yet are currently the “approved” group to marginalize.

So I’m stuck between two political parties I don’t respect.

if you don't want to have an abortion, then don't have one. You do not have the right to impose your moral values or any other values, on to others.

If somebody decides to kill a family member of mine, I have the right to speak against that murder. This is no different.

And that’s why I can’t accept the left.

And since I don’t respect the right, I’m left without a party.

This is your twisted framing, and very different. You are choosing to wedge yourself into other peoples business.

So you want to control your your sisters, daughters, and nieces? Lovely.

You fail to recognize that lack of abortion access may actually kill them, and prevent them from getting pregnant in the future >> https://idahocapitalsun.com/2024/11/12/four-women-challenge-idahos-abortion-ban-in-court/.

If “controlling others” looks like not accepting murder, then I guess you’re correct. People should not be allowed to kill others. You’ve decided to twist reality to accept the killing of the very young. I have not. We have a shared history of deciding who is “less than”, and therefore doesn’t deserve human rights and dignity. In our current era, it’s the unborn. I refuse to accept that there’s a group among us that can be murdered to the tune of over a million a year.

And let’s not distort reality here. Only 1-3% of abortions are performed because the mother’s life is at risk. And in those cases, an abortion may be an option; in the case of an ectopic pregnancy, both mother and child WILL die. Saving one is better than saving neither. That’s what respecting life looks like. But in 97% of cases, this isn’t even an issue.

- woman who still mourns her ectopic pregnancy

LOL. You're a cliche. Everyone else's abortion is evil, but yours is fine.

Wow, hateful hyperbole and lies is all you have. Sad.

Are you denying trans existance? I'd hope not.
Are you denying BLM and defund the police? Really? After Derek Chavuin? https://blacklivesmatter.com/toolkit/talking-points-for-defund-the-police-week/
We didn't have all those people under the bridge in those famous pictures? SCOTUS is dealing with the asylum issue: https://www.scotusblog.com/2026/03/justices-to-consider-the-rights-of-asylum-seekers-at-the-u-s-mexico-border/

What lies are there? What hyperbole?

They haven’t been “duped.” They WANT to believe in the crazy left as a dangerous enemy.
They are disgusting peoples. Rather sadly, the same applies to the corporate Democrats. In a saner country, the Squad, Bernie Sanders, and Sen Van Hollen would not be outliers for their various acts of bravery in their careers. Sherrod Brown and Cori Bush would still be in office. And we might be establishing healthcare as a human right. But MAGA, “good” Romney style republicans, AND neoliberals (Clinton, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer) DNGAF about ANYONE in this country.

Cori Bush and Sherrod Brown are very different and lost their seats for very different reasons. Please don’t compare him to her.

You’ve got a selective memory.

Yes, there is a radical left, and not only does it exist, but it has a hold on democrats.

Remember Biden’s work redefining sex as gender identity? I do.
If that’s not radical leftism at work, I don’t know what is.
And that’s one example. I could sit here and write all day but I have stuff to do.

Neil Gorsuch wrote the Supreme Court’s decision that did that.

Not in the way the GOP told you. You people are so f-in gullible and stupid and, frankly, hateful. So easy to dupe racists and homophobes, and transphobes, and xenophobes. F-in stupid stupid stupid.

There you are. Our resident gaslighter who could benefit greatly from a thesaurus and a brain.

When all you RWNJs have is lies, no one wants to listen anymore. We see through you.

Every one of your accusations are confessions. You are one trick ponies and it is so OLD.

DP. I am not MAGA and have never voted for a Republican in a major race but it is pretty easy to see that some leftist/Democrat positions will not be viewed kindly by history. The fact you are so blind that you can’t see that is your problem, not the problem of history.

Civil rights will never be looked upon historically in a negative manner.

When you redefine “civil rights” to mean “my own personal preferences” it certainly will be tossed in the trash bin of history.

MAGA will of course be looked at harshly by historians, but so will aspects of Biden’s presidency and Democratic positions more generally.

Trump and Biden are obviously weak presidents relative to the norm but the "Democratic" positions you speak of that are so unpopular were never mainstream Dem politicians at the Federal level. You were duped by a successful GOP messaging campaign that was only successful because the Dems have no national leader to set the record straight.

The redefinition of sex and gender under Title 9 was a product of Biden.

The border policy was Biden policy.

Full health insurance for undocumented immigrants in California (not available to citizens) was the Democrats under Newsom.

And on and on and on. I know you don’t like being confronted with reality but unfortunately there are wildly unpopular policies that were mainstream Democratic policies and that are going to be on the wrong side of history.
