She looks beautiful with shiny, dark hair. The length is too long for anyone, but it’s definitely too long for someone as petite as Kate.

Most importantly, the big curls wouldn’t look good on anyone. They are almost comical—like a theater wig.

She’s like 5’ 9”—that’s not petite.

Her face is very thin and small…petite.

People with tiny faces can’t really pull off big, long hair.

Who is that British model/actress that used to date Hugh Grant and was on that show the Royals? She keeps her hair shoulder length and off her face, and Kate should do the same.

Liz Hurley!

We could all take a lesson from Liz Hurley and her hairstyle as she has aged—particularly women with tiny faces.

Liz Hurley has always had longish hair. What style are you referring to?

The back of it is really rough. No shame in fake hair wearing at all, I do it myself. But she needs a specialist and someone with expertise in extensions to come style it for events.

Also a solid curl is important to hair extension blending. It looks like they just stuck curly extensions under her straight hair. There is a reason you never see Kristi Noem with her hair straight. The fakeness becomes obvious. Same with the girls on the Mormon wives show.

Unfortunately, this is the result when most brunettes decide to go blonde. They wind up looking ashen and washed out.

Yeah I think it will take a bit for her to find the blonde that works for her.

I think the hair looks like she went a little lighter for summer and let it grew and didn’t realize the hairdresser was going to be away on holiday before this appearance Plus tried heatless overnight curls that were a bit too tight but necessary for the busy morning. I think the color is lackluster with the drab outfit as someone said earlier. But I’m a brunette and favor darker hair! Also, she has been thru a lot and knows she is under a microscope every time she is seen. She’s still in amazing shape and you can see how she interacts so graciously with the children at the exhibit.

She has nannies, plural. She most definitely is not waking up to take care of 3 kids. At most she said good morning and waved them off with a driver.

Then a different driver chauffeured her to this event.

An exhausting day indeed.

Literally nobody said it looks good but she just had cancer, she has three children, she's doing her best. I much prefer her with short, dark, shiny hair.

This pic looks photoshopped. The other one looked more natural, like extensions.

Your average Hollywood actress has a bunch of added hair pieces and wigs on the red carpet without most people noticing. It can be done well, but it is expensive.

I don’t think the shade suits her and it’s really long past time for her to cut her hair to a length appropriate to a middle aged woman. The style in that pic of Rose Byrne’s hair would be perfect on Kate.

Maybe she just lacks the confidence of a Diana.

Shame on everyone here for criticizing a cancer patients wig. That’s what you’re all doing.

Kate is very fortunate to have so many resources in battling cancer, but at the end of the day, she’s a mom of young kids fighting cancer, going to work and trying to look her best and put a smile on her face as she does that.

Maybe she thinks it looks good. Maybe she’s done playing the exhausting game of pretending she’s gone through chemotherapy with no impact on her appearance. Everyone’s youthful looks fade at some point and what’s left is your character.

It’s not blonde and I’d rather people stop calling it blonde. Thank you for attending my TED talk.

Okay, how do describe that color?

She may not have trustworthy advisors in her inner circle anymore.

Back in the day, Kate would not have been let through the door with her head like that.

But will and Kate have forged a more autonomous and independent path. So they make more of their own decisions unchallenged and less guided.

1. It's a wig pieces not the biggest deal lots of women do this. Hers isn't blended well.

2. It's not the right shade for her.

3. Good for her for trying something new
