I lost 60 pounds in 5 months without using GLP-1.

eat less?

I am now at 130 lbs and chatgpt told me my basal metabolism is around 1100 calories. so i actually need to keep eating very little or walk quite a bit just to maintain. people say this is disordered but don't understand how little you are supposed to eat to be slim.

OP here. i tried it and it didn't work for me. i ended up heavier than when i started. i do have a stash that i will use in emergency.

Ok, now I really don't believe you.

I live in NYC and walk everywhere. I have a dog and kids I walk to school @1 mile each way, and I go out for walks throughout the day. On average I walk 12-15k steps per day without really "trying" but I can't imagine in a normal day walking 30k steps. I also call bs. Especially on 700 calories.

Why would you have an emergency stash if it didn't work for you? OP is such a troll.

Can you please write out a sample daily meal plan, like
Breakfast
Snack
Lunch
Snack
Dinner
Etc.

look, I make time to walk. I don't. just gather 30k steps by doing normal stuff. I have to make an effort. what you described sounds about right. I lived in NYC for several years, and I am also from a big city in europe and spend a lot of time there. just walking everywhere as you live your life and without actually trying to make 30k or whatever target will get you into 10-15k range.

I can tell you what I ate today

root beet from a jar (29 calories/100gr) - i ate maybe 300 gr?
2 eggs + 3 egg whites
100 gr cold cuts
tall latte from Starbucks and 35 gr nuts also from starbucks
raspberries 250 gr
Lindt dark chocolate with mint - 4 squares (40 gr)
I think that's maybe it?

I already explained this. I got used to it and learned to eat around it. but I think if I use it once in 3 months it will work. I haven't used it for a long time so it will probably work like it worked at the beginning.

OP here. I am not recommending this to anyone, but as for myself, I am far from frail, I feel and look great, my labs are fantastic and I am looking forward to my walks every day. I am no more completely invisible and I just fit comfortably into my size 28 jeans that I haven't worn in 15 years. I can suddenly climb many stairs and steep hills easily where I used to struggle with a floor or two.

I experienced exactly zero pain over the past 5 months. I was always good at walking, could walk long distances where people who were much more fit would complain - I just wasn't doing it enough and consistently. When I reach my goal weight I plan to maintain at least 20k steps, though to be honest, on days when I only do that much (e.g. travel etc), I feel like I want to walk more.

You are not walking "30,000" steps a day.

Absolutely possible!! I do it all the time. Walk with intention in the morning.. desk job during the day but up for walk breaks occasionally... evening walk after dinner. At least 30k steps a day. And no it did not take me 4 hours.

OP here. how long have you been doing it? so many people think it's impossible but actually have nurmous 40k days and some 50k... that's when I really have some free time.

TROLL STOP LYING

is it possible to upload photos? I would love do show you a few screenshots. today I walked 26k and barely noticed. I also walked 20 minutes on 18% incline and had an hour of strength training with my trainer. I understand your disbelief, sometimes I can't believe this happened to me, either, but yeah, I was over 200 lbs less than 8 months ago.

Please do. You can load your pictures to Imgur and link to them here.

Please, no one who posted looking for advise should try to emulate this kind of eating. It is seriously lacking in nutrients including fiber, and high in sugar.

that’s what you are focused on?? for the entire day the poster ate eggs and plain cold cuts, with a little fruit and chocolate

How long does it take to walk 30,000 steps a day? Are you hungery?
