A House Republican is pushing to ban transgender women from women’s restrooms at the US Capitol, two weeks after history was made with the election of America’s first out transgender person to Congress.

“This is a biological man trying to force himself into women’s spaces, and I’m not going to tolerate it.”

She continued, “I’m the first woman to graduate from the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. If some guy in a skirt came by and said, ‘No, that’s my achievement.’ I’m going to be there and standing in the way and saying, ‘Hell no.’ I’m not going to allow men to erase women or women’s rights.”

How does Mace know whether 1) McBride has a penis (McBride could be post-op) and 2) why does she think that said penis, if it exists, will be displayed in the bathroom? Women's bathrooms have private stalls.

Haven't travelled much, have you? Lots of countries have unisex bathrooms and some even have unisex locker rooms and unisex saunas. They also have nude and topless beaches. Heck, I lived in Northern Europe in the 70s and used unisex bathrooms in public facilities all the time.
