Bernie Torches Democratic Party

And he’s 100% right. But the rich, white elitists inside the Beltway will ignore him and continue losing national elections and run someone like Gavin Newsom or Mayor Pete in 2028.

Bernie has had some good points but accomplished nothing good for the past 50 years.

I like Bernie but don't think he is completely fair. In the exit poll, only 30 something percent of the voters say economy was their number 1 issue.

And Kamala Harris just lost by a landslide to a sundowning convicted felon and rapist who was bringing stand up comics on stage to make racist jokes against Puerto Ricans and Blacks. But sure, Bernie’s wrong and the Dems should just continue with business as usual. Whitmer/Mayor Pete 2028!!!!

This is my problem with Bernie. He has some great ideas and positions, but he's never put any of them to the test. Heckling from the cheap seats is easy.

Bernie is not even a Democrat, except when it's convenient for him.

How? Did you listen to Harris' campaign speeches? I thought it was pretty focused on improving the working/middle class issues. What do you think she should have said more?

So are there any potential candidates for 2028 who fit the mold of what Bernie is getting at? Bernie himself is too old.

Please. Bernie was the problem. He, AOC, and party activists led the Democrats down this left wing platform, which was utterly rejected in the election.

The problem is the Dem party is so splintered; there will be no seeing eye to eye.

They got crushed among Hispanic men and working class voters in general. It might be because they see the party as representing the cultural and economic interests of well off people. As with Trump, Bernie can relate to these same working class people.

But ignore what he says and nominate someone who working class people don’t like next time and see where that gets you. But don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Then what else do you want her to say in her campaign speeches and platform? Your work is cheap, show us some ideas.

F Bernie. And I voted for him in the 2016 primaries. But I’ve come to see him for the grifter he is.

Nope. Bernie was called a sexist and racist for not being woke enough. His economic and foreign policy stances are not what did the Dems in. It’s the woke stuff.

As I already said, Bernie has good points. You don't need to defend him.
