I cannot believe this is actually something that could go to trial. Everyone takes a plea deal when it comes to this kind of stuff or like the To Catch a Predator type of situation. When do these cases actually go to trial? I will be shocked if he doesn’t take a plea deal in the end because the trial would be crazy.

Oh it’s going to trial unless someone can get his incredibly arrogant ass to plead guilty and save them all some tiny bit of face.

They already added an appeals attorney to his legal team too, so they plan on burning money over this for a while.

Completely out there theory, but have the convinced someone else to say it's their computer/equipment? Or are they just in denial?

Someone upthread said they tried to blame it on an immigrant who was also working in the car lot office.

I don't think it's arrogance as much as blind trust in faith.

I had a relative who was extremely religious like they are. Very self righteous when it came to religion. Anyway, when they got seriously ill, they refused medical treatment and instead decided to put their faith 100% in god. God knew the plan and if it was their time to die, that was his will.

Okay so Josh Duggar's trial started today.

That's not the juicy part. Anna showed up and she looked FIRE. Anna looked like she hired a celebrity stylist and actually dressed like a modern woman of the 21st Century.

I'm flummoxed. WTF is going on. She's not leaving Duggarville and the FDLS community so why is she suddenly looking like a high-payed lawyer with a dual MPA/MD?

Jesus! I didn’t know the details of what he did to his sisters when he was a teen. It’s bad. I know he’s not on trial for that though obviously - will the court allow those details in the trial?

Where did you see the details?? I vaguely remember hearing about it way back when and thinking it wasn’t that bad (as far as molesting a child can be “not that bad”). But I think Josh is terrible so I’d like to be proven wrong.

I hope that testimony (from Bobye Holt) is allowed. It goes to show that everyone protected him even knowing he touched his sisters over and under clothing (penetrating one). Shows that he really is a sicko who can be believed to be the one downloading child porn still. Someone who does that to his own sisters doesn't change with prayers and good wishes, and I'm one that believes in prayers and turning around, but not in this case. Nope.
