Posts like this make me laugh. It was a good experience today. Richmond United was a good challenge. We are new to MU and it’s been a great experience. Why do you care who we play?

Tying Richmond 05 is a good job. Nicely done MU!

Richmond 05 is ranked no. 18 in Virginia. Getting a tie against them is nothing to boast about. Bethesda ECNL beat them 5-1.

RU got 4th in the conference last year. 18th in the state? Give me a break.

PP is an idiot and referencing gotsoccer rankings that have all kinds of ccl and npl teams ahead of RU. MU 05 is a good team. There’s no arguing that.

Check for yourself. They are ranked 18th in the state and that ranking includes the points they got from their 4th place in their conference. They also placed last in their group at Jefferson Cup. https://home.gotsoccer.com/rankings/team.aspx?teamid=1227248

RU lost to FCV's B team at the Jefferson cup and also were underwhelming at CASL. And didn't they finish last in their league play? Their ranking is fair.

Sorry, I meant to say finished 4th in their division, not last in the league.

So let me recap what I have learned today. MU went all the way down to Richmond to play some friendlies. The 05s tied a mediocre Richmond ecnl team which made parents happy. There is no report on other age groups so we are assuming an ass kicking took place. Is that about right?

RU 05 did not play FCV’s B team at Jefferson Cup. Are you talking about 06? Get your story straight man.

Ok. Dude. I'm not a MU parent. Nor am I a MU defender. However, you are really showing your ignorance.

To the poster who claimed RU lost to FCV’s B at team at Jeff Cup at least try and be based in reality and understand that these things are easily researched.

Moron.

Both 2006 and 2005 RU teams are very good and deep. 18th in VA? Only if you are smoking crack, in either case.

RU 05 is good MU tied them having to play a man down and missing several key players. Give credit where credit is due.

Good showing for MU down so many players. Looks worse for RU IMO as they could only pull a draw from a team missing its entire back line.

Hoping for good things from both clubs this season.

I noticed on the FCV website calendar that RU scrimmages FCV U15 girls this weekend. Should make for a good comparison.

RU blew MU out in every game but 05. What it says is that MU 05 is a good team and will make some noise this year. VDA is next. MU beat them by a score of 1-0 in February and MU is much improved since then.
