Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
You keep accusing other coaches of cheating but never have any receipts. No other coach recruited 24 players and destroyed two programs in 1 season. |
The groupies are all PME people (associated with his pay to play private training program) |
| That's weird and inappropriate. Why all these adults who are not family members so interested in teenaged boys??? |
I don't know but I agree it is creepy. And have all these "coaches" and groupies hanging out on the sidelines and with access to the players been background-checked? Posting photos of players who aren't related to you is creepy AF as well. They already had an assistant coach try to do drugs with a child. |
There will be voluminous mountains of evidence, it is not released to the public. |
What do you consider reciepts? Things have been said, just like things have been said about Hayfield. Do you think there are receipts concerning the Hayfield allegations? |
Absolutely. The VHSL laid out the broad strokes in their letter with the transfers and certainly they have emails, texts, social media posts, etc. It was easy for anyone to figure out all the transferring simply by comparing rosters and looking at twitter, instagram etc. If another coach is doing the same thing (as you allege over and over again with no proof), then it should be very easy for you to post a current roster here for another FCPS HS and show us all the new players added this year from other schools. Yet you repeatedly decline to do so. The fact is NO ONE broke the rules as spectacularly and with such disregard for kids who weren't "his players" as this con man. He should be banned from coaching in the state of Virginia. |

I think the issue is that FCPS spent a gajillion dollars and the so-called "400 hours of staff time" just checking paperwork. They didn't check to see if the kids actually lived there, they didn't check to see if the family actually moved to the alleged address, they certainly didn't do any checking on kids claiming to be homeless. And, they somehow totally missed 9 transfer students that VHSL found. (How???). Then the person they hired just reviewed that the paperwork was checked, Very bureaucratic and tunnel visioned and limited as far as what they looked at.
The Hayfield admin seemed to have no issue with the blatant breaking of VHSL rules as long as it made Overton happy and made the team better. |
| So what is happening with the senior night for the rest of the kids? Just...nothing? |
They aren't the kids the Hayfield administration cares about |
| They are too busy spending time running around like chickens with their heads cut off appealing, appealing, appealing rule-breaking literally apparent to everyone. Sorry band kids. |
Everyone knew the Hayfield administration was all in on Overton’s plans. They welcomed it, and drove out another administrator who wasn’t comfortable. What’s worse, however, is that Michelle Reid was prepared to cover up the improprieties through a sham investigation that the VHSL has essentially rejected. She is deeply incompetent, and needs to lose her job over this. |
PLEASE don’t help this idiot mess things up for another team by posting teams that are just as suspect as Hayfield. Atleast not until their season is done. Some of these posters are jealous of the success these kids are having on the field. |
No worries. No other team is doing this (recruiting 24 players in one season). So the finger-pointer is welcome to post specifics (he doesn't have any). No one is jealous of the kids' success. We feel sorry for them that their awful parents are carting them around from school to school to follow a charlatan and a con-man, to play a sport that could give them lifelong brain injuries. |
| LMAO at the idea that any team is "just as bad" as Hayfield. The hubris this clown car of coaches showed with their blatant violation of the rules is frankly unmatched. |
