Herndon club

They should regularly schedule a little kid team to practice on that side warm up field. It would keep the dozens of pickup players away.

They had 6 u-little and younger teams on the field at once.

Then they put *14* middle-high school ages teams on the field at once. 14 teams of 15-20
Players each.

Does that make sense to anyone? What was the point?

14 teams on one field?

Yes, 14 high school and middle school aged teams on one field at the same time. But for the younger ages, a lot fewer teams in their time slots. It made no sense. I guess those teams are n't going to Spain so who cares.

This is a good idea actually.

does anyone know which teams he is coaching?

Is normal practice on for tonight? There is no point to whatever last night was. HS tryouts are next week and our kids will be already be at a huge disadvantage compared to kids coming from clubs who have been consistently practicing all winter.

HYS does not care about the older players AT ALL. (Except the two girls teams coached by JC and NA.)

You mean the director and best girls competitive coach doesn’t care for all the teams in the club? Very hard to believe.

To be fair this is the time when HYS steps their game up, everyone shows up at practice, everyone is chatting and listening to the parents until tryouts and once you accept the offer and make your first payment… they sign you up for their own HYS tournament and a fake made up tournament that another HYS director runs. People complain then fall for their games again

Have seen no evidence of this. Every parent I know in our child's age group is angry with Herndon and planning on leaving. A coach left in fall and instead of hiring new coach, they sent that team to practice with our team all winter. The combined practices are a lot worse, a lot fewer touches on the ball and a lot less feedback. Now parents found out that's the plan for the entire spring as well. Not through any communication from Herndon! So instead of having their own team trainings with their own coach, our players will have 1 coach: 2 teams (35 kids) at every training. They not even sending an other coach to help run the trainings. These are middle schoolers who need a lot of coaching. They completely changed what we are getting for the cost. Every other Herndon team will be practicing with their own coach. No word on how the coach will cover five different team games every weekend. And, no explanation, apology, discounts from Herndon to the parents about any of this.

Seems like it would have been alot easier just to hire another coach.
