Wow, this gets more bizarre.

The family of Brian Laundrie — who vanished as authorities hunted for his girlfriend, Gabby Petito — found a note left on his car in Florida, their attorney told The Post on Monday.

Police left the notice on Laundrie’s Mustang, which his family found Wednesday parked near the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, according to attorney Steven Bertolino.

The note had asked for the car to be removed — but the family left the vehicle there until Thursday, hoping he’d return to it, Bertolino said.

We need tracking and cell phone data on the parents, and financial records and credit cards. We need to know what they knew and when they knew it and how much money they have spent curiously over the last few weeks.

Apparently there are now (currently unconfirmed) internet reports that Brian accidentally went live on Instagram this morning for a few seconds, from a boat. Reportedly happened 20 minutes before the FBI showed up at his parents' house.

I don't know why anyone is calling this guy stupid. He got rid of her in a place they had no instagram posts about, drove home, didn't say a word to the cops, and got out of dodge. He seems like a total scumbag, but not dumb.

After viewing the police video from mid-August of this young couple, I find it alarming that the cops allowed a sobbing, distraught young woman drive off in a vehicle in which she admitted she did not feel comfortable driving drive off alone with no destination in site. She had very little money, no water and did not know a soul anywhere near the area. They let her drive off in the early evening when she was so scared and had no idea where she would spend the night. She was the perfect prey for an unscrupulous predator. Meanwhile they drove the Male to a paid for hotel, even walked him up to the front desk and made sure everything was set up. He got to sleep in a warm bed, have a hot shower and got unlimited color television 📺 for the next twelve hours.

I am not accusing these cops of Gabrielle’s death. That would be so unfair.
What I am accusing them of is lousy handling of a potential DV situation.
Why label her the aggressor when she was the one crying and emotional? Why label the victim the individual who is cracking jokes and 🤜🏽🤛🏽ing the other officer’s while clearly lying to them about not owning a phone??!
Why abandon the Female while making sure the Male is properly taken care of for the evening?

The officer mentioned they cannot treat anyone different because of gender, but I disagree 1000%.
Letting a Female drive off alone with no one or nowhere to go is placing her at a much higher risk than doing it for a Male. Watching the police cam video I see such an obvious injustice my blood boils.

And that is before adding the context that is available now. 🤨

Umm she was fine though. She died 13 days later but not because she drove off alone but because she went right back to her abuser.
