The problem was about giving it one year. I don't think it matters much where you go this year, there will lots of challenges. If you're only going to give it one year, you should just leave now. Sounds like meeting your expectations will be hard to do in a possibly shortened season with lots of challenges due to COVID-19.

Or give it a year because moving now is crazy if you weren’t already working a move before COVID.

Different scenario completely when training/practice go into the summer and after when the traditional end of season (Memorial Day tournaments, league games first week of June). Before it was awkward for a few weeks if you were leaving/moving up/moving down. Now it's potentially awkward a lot longer.

I consider the season to be over. If your current club offers some level of training and you are not going back then just consider it to be training and nothing more. If you’re changing clubs put your focus there instead if possible.

ECNL and DA playoffs went into late June and July - teams were training for those. As I said, either playing stupid or new.

The DA season is clearly over but the non DA spring league/season has never formally cancelled/folded like the DA has.
