.
U14-U15-U16-U17-U18-U19-U20-U23-Full USWNT

Well when US Soccer only picks players from their own failing league...

No one ever said the talent wasn’t there. But most those girls didn’t develop at FCV. DD had something to do with this as well

😂 Not true!

US Soccer not picking ECNL players and DD might have had something to do with it...

I’m sure it is that, especially when 15 area ECNL teams are in the bottom half of their league standings I’m sure they are just loaded with national team caliber players.

Teams aren't kids you moron who gives a crap if the team isn't good, the individual player is who makes the cut and DD made sure that didn't occur so she could fit her agenda and so that the best players would go to FCV to continue going or to go. IT was shady! now look were the DA is, NO WHERE and FCV will crash and burn in less then 2 years. What DD did was unethical and was a scared tactic/manipulative to pull top talent to FCV. Karma is a B**** Again FCV is playing weak ASS teams and when they play the same ECNL teams the ECNL teams are beating them. FCV club used DD, she got what she wanted (Power) and they got what they wanted (the kids) Your kids aren't stars there are better around this region that never got a chance due to the CRAZY politics at FCV. You all will get what you deserve.

All a scout and club coach can do is get a player to a training center, the kid does the rest. A club coach does not dictate the roster of a National Team.

A club coach does not but the area scout and league patch on the jersey do.

A scout does not pick the National Team roster. Their job is to identify potential players, most obviously don’t make a NT roster.

The scout has nothing to do with who goes from training center to camp?

🤦‍♂️

Only to a regional camp. US soccer coaches take over from regional camps.

Again, these kids made the National Team. These aren’t training center invites.

Waste of your breath to try to explain to these crazies.

Crazies? You actually believe that the only kids good enough for a national team camp are the fcv players? You actually believe there was no DA bias and the area scout does not have any say on who goes to ynt camp?

Your poor kid, playing in the best league, for the best club on the best bottom half of the division team and all these people are just in her way to making the National Team.

Again, her current coach is her first most powerful advocate. Ask your current coach why the soccer Gods hate your supremely talented daughter who gets subbed out on a average team.

National team coaches and scouts told girls to move to the DA or they would not go to a camp. Keep thinking fcv is the greatest though.

Shocking that scouts would encourage potential players from a part-time showcase league to a 10 month developmental league.

Crazy suggestion.

Let me guess, your kid said no, played High School soccer and was never asked again?

If my kid had the opportunity to make a National Team or Varsity I’m picking Varsity of course.

Is it Scout’s that should be encouraging such a move? How do those scouts feel now after encouraging players to move, now they are playing in a league similar to ECNL with less competition

Will US Soccer now support the ECNL as the pathway for players to make YNT Rosters or Girls Academy League.

Should have added, they will have limited resources. Many of the scouting department was let go.

It would be easier for the scouts if all the top players were in one place, it’s a shame that won’t happen.

This will only affect 06 and below. The best have been identified 05 and above

We needed more scouts not less!!!!!

Would love to see the youth National team staff show face and attend games more often

That’s 100% correct. Coaches HAVE been furloughed. Other coaches who were furloughed were then magically unfurloughed and are now handling team zooms for the coaches that were actually furloughed.

So GA coaches were not impacted but travel coaches were???

A club’s best coaches would coach the highest-level teams, so those would be the most important to retain. Right?

Agreed. TSJFCV views any coach not involved in GA as expendable and more of a necessary evil than a resource. Explains why those would be the first furloughed if that is true. I still don't understand though why anyone is being furloughed since they have our spring money still...

Don’t believe the #fakenews

When did these offers go out? Our friends who play there (and start) had said they hadn't gotten anything formal yet?

It's like a slowwwww boat to China. Club admin was furloughed so many Bobby has to do the admin work himself now....

Who has been furloughed

The main club admin was what we were told and coaches have taken salary cuts.

How are staff being furloughed when we paid for the spring?

Maybe we will be getting a fat refund if they are laying off staff and cutting coaches salaries.

We should get something, I don’t understand laying off coaches when fees for spring had been collected.

Coaches have been laid off? Have seen most on zoom calls one day or another.

Some coaches are NOT on their teams zoom calls, other coaches are taking over.

So has everyone accepted their GAL offers?

Speaking of missing coaches, any update on the status of Gus Donalo staying or going?

I am excited for the new GA and I am looking forward to the girls getting back on the field.

I’m not excited at all but my DD will give it one year and see.

The problem with this statement is that there will be no league that will not have bumps in the road due to COVID-19.

There was no problem with that statement. What’s wrong with I’m not excited? I doubt anyone is super excited.

Does TSJ own the non DA teams?

Yes, all play under the same umbrella. ULittles have much less interaction with the head honchos but there is interaction.

The problem was about giving it one year. I don't think it matters much where you go this year, there will lots of challenges. If you're only going to give it one year, you should just leave now. Sounds like meeting your expectations will be hard to do in a possibly shortened season with lots of challenges due to COVID-19.
