Political Discussion
|
I saw the video and still see nothing different. The kids got involved in an unnecessary altercation and made fun of native Americans. They didn't commit a crime, but we're still exhibiting poor behavior. That church has met at that bus stop for decades and some of the kids had been there before. Just because some adults who people already have little respect for also behaved poorly doesn't change my view of this school. The adults were there and did nothing or even encouraged the altercation.
When I attended the march as a child our priest prayed with us and we quietly got back on the bus without engaging anyone including other kids at the march. For decades kids have come to the mall for this. No mistake why it was the MAGA hat wearers who were caught on video behaving poorly. For Catholics, what do you think it is acceptable to wear a political statement to a church event. Even if this altercation isn't national news it should be religious news for the church to reflect on fixing[list] their image. |
The collective we can't get "mad" we don't have that luxury of outrage. We aren't victims. Peace comes through our strength. |
Once again. It wasn't "blackface." But, go ahead and keep spreading lies. A group who exploits kids? You mean, because the parents and the school instill the value of sanctity of life they are pushing a political agenda? So, you not only search for racism where it doesn't exist, but now you are demonstrating an anti-Catholic attitude. So, you have checked off the race box. And the religion box. Now, find something about the "male" box and the "Trump supporter" box and you'll be batting 1000. |

Chills down the spine. How....dramatic.
Garbage school, students and community. |
| Boy, you white Trumpers certainly see anti white racism everywhere. Good god. |
And, the "unnecessary altercation" was actually caused by Mr. Phillips, who approached the group. If he had remained in his own personal space, there would be no story. Keep justifying your view. The outrage over this incident is so overblown it would be laughable if these kids weren't in serious danger now. |
When people start circulating innocent pictures of the school, and attribute them to "racism," it is justified. |
| Girl, calm down. |
1) Where did I say anything racism? I said the adults had poor judgement to let any kid have blackface (& black body), especially at a school event. Kids are probably clueless about the historical meaning but the first adult who saw that should have shut that down immediately. Poor judgement. 2) The school and parents are welcome to instill their values at home and school. As soon as they have their kids MARCHING or protesting with graphic signs then they are using this kids to push their political agenda. They are inserting themselves into other people’s beliefs, choices, and bodies. Poor judgement and questionable morals for this whole community. |
Agree. There were three parties - one a group of adult black males from a hate group being antagonistic (to say the least), an adult Native American being antagonistic, and a group of white Christian schoolboys being antagonistic. I can't help noticing how liberals are directing their hatred toward the white Christian kids while skirting over the worse behavior of the black and NA adults. |
DP. What bout the judgment of the hate-group black males and the "in-your-face" taunting of the Native American? Those ADULTS sure had bad judgment! |
Will you also pray for these girls that they don’t have to be harassed by d!ckish young men anymore? https://mobile.twitter.com/roflinds/status/1087486166939680768 |
I am absolutely certain you said the exact same thing about the thousands of women who brought their children to the women's march. Right? |
It's blackface dumb a$$. My child's school has blackouts all the time, wear black clothes, not black face. |
He stepped between white kids that were unable to walk away from an altercation with a hate group and the white kids decided to surround him and block his path, he did not get in their face they got into his face. |
