I wonder if Trump is aware of how badly things are going. It seems his aides are giving him false hope

Things aren't going badly at all. The US blockade is working well. So sorry to disappoint.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/why-a-u-s-blockade-on-iran-seems-to-be-working

Iran has been under sanctions for 48 years. They will fall within a week or 3 months. Those rail connections to Russia, Turkey and China mean nothing. Iran has 157 mb of oil in tankers outside the straits. That is 110 days. Can the US go 110 days with the strait closed?

This blockade is actually allowing a lot through and the US does not have the air resources to maintain it. The ships huge the Iranian coast and enter Pakistan’s territorial waters. Not much the US can do.

Other than that the US is doing great. Too bad Israel will not help.

Agreed. Miriam Adelson’s Mercenaries are in their way. Iran will fail shortly.

Hopefully Israel is right after that.

The so‐called Stern gang” of Zionist terrorists tried to assassinate President Truman by letter‐bomb in 1947, according to a new biography written by Mr. Truman's daughter.

Mrs. Margaret Truman Daniel writes that “a number of cream‐colored envelopes, about eight by six inches, arrived in the White House, addressed to the President and various members of the staff.” They were found to contain “powdered gelignite, a pencil battery and a detonator rigged to explode the gelignite when the envelope was opened.”

But the White House mail room, alert to the danger of postal bombs, discovered the letters and had them defused by Secret Service bomb experts, Mrs. Daniel writes in her book, “Harry S. Truman,” which is being published by William Morrow & Co. Copies are being distributed to reach bookstores for the Christmas‐shopping season, although the formal publication date is in January.

As far as could be immediately determined, Mrs. Daniel is the first member of the Truman White House circle to confirm that the letter‐bombs arrived, although the report also appeared in a 1949 book, “‘Dear Mr. President . . .’ The Story of Fifty Years in the White House Mail Room,” by Ira R. T. Smith, with the collaboration of Joe Alex Morris.

Margaret Truman the mystery novelist?

She was using her dad’s diaries and there are far worse things her dad wrote about Israel/zionist gangs even before the state officially formed in 1948.

It seems the 1940s was an especially busy time for their terror network

Probably to clear the strait of Iranian mines, duh.

Yeah, right.

This is so sick.

I feel so badly for those proud Americans who signed up to fight to protect their country.

Here, they are protecting Israel. And they are protecting the billionaires including Trump who what to steal Iran's oil.

Iran poses no direct threat to the US. Our soldiers should not be sent to die in this undeclared war that's begun by Trump as a distraction from Epstein.

I have family in the military. They did NOT sign up for this.

What a bizarrely naive comment. They’re not “protecting Israel.” The US (and other countries) are trying to open the Strait so that oil can be supplied around the world. Why is the strait closed? Because Iran chose to lay its mines there. Take it up with Iran.

You’re naive. The US has been bombing and destroying Iran and Iran closed the strait to get the US to stop. Nothing was happening to the US to make US start killing Iranians. On the other side Israel has been destroying Beirut, pretending it’s about Hamas, but it’s not. It’s about taking their land. Don’t be gullible.

Is that why 40 countries have rebuked Iran for laying mines in the Strait and blocking ships, as well as demanding Iran open the Strait back up? Huh, interesting.

DP You just can not help yourself can you? The strait is open just have to make a deal with the Iranians and pay some money. Oh and there are no mines. Ships who have made deals go through the strait every day. If there were mines ships would be sinking. That is how mines work.

I love how you, a random troll, thinks you speak with more authority than you know, the people who actually know what's going on. Please educate yourself before opening your mouth and wasting everyone's time. Iran has left a path open to ships willing to pay a toll. The US Navy has a map of the mine-laden areas and are working to clear them because Iran is too incompetent to do it themselves.

How is Iran incompetent if they have mines that scare American ships? I don’t believe they have any mines. Other ships would be unable to cross successfully if there are underwater mines.

I believe America just is too proud to pay Iran the toll and really fears a hypersonic or ballistic missile sinking the ship just like they’ve sunk many planes and drones. We are even lower on naval supply.

This country is a joke. All that money spent on defense but we have nothing in our coffers. We are being robbed of top shelf supply by that tiny nation that can’t fight or protect itself

There’s no evidence Iran will fall in a week or three months. I think this is wishful thinking and hubris ala Ukraine/Russia. Nothings falling.

It took us 10 years to get Syrian regime change. Our mojo doesn’t work anymore and the citizens now realize regime change is a trick by Western powers so it isn’t going to work. You can’t keep repeating the same strategy for 20 years and thinking it will continue to work.

Iran's Foreign Minister just reported that, in line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the Strait of Hormuz is open. No, I did not see the tweet. It was just reported on CNBC Squawkbox.

What a lesson Iran learned from all this. Whether they intended to build a nuclear weapon or not (no evidence they did), they have now learned to concentrate military assets on the Strait. They're FAR more powerful coming out of this.

Looking forward to seeing the conditions of the cease-fire. How much did Trump give away? How much is he getting in kickbacks? How much better off is Iran today than it was six weeks ago?

Yeah Iran walked away significantly advantaged from all this. Trump gave the hardliners a huge advantage here.

Has Trump commented yet? You know he's going to be annoyed that Iran declared the Strait open and not him.

With or without a toll?

They will keep the toll. Which is only right. They were attacked. The important questions are will Israel’s proxies in the regime be disarmed, Israel turn over its nuclear weapons and give up long range strike capabilities?

Reporting is US will pay Iran $20 billion as part of the deal. I don’t want to hear about “pallets of cash” from another MAGA ever again

Hegseth: To the American media—I just can't help but notice the endless stream of garbage, the relentlessly negative coverage you cannot resist peddling. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what side some of you are actually on. It's incredibly unpatriotic.

Jesus entered a synagogue and healed a man with a withered hand. The Pharisees came to watch. As the scripture reads, they were there to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath so that they might accuse Him.

You see, the Pharisees — the so-called and self-appointed elites of their time — were there to witness, to write everything down, and to report. But their hearts were hardened, even though they witnessed a literal miracle. It didn’t matter to them. They were only there to explain away the goodness in pursuit of their agenda. As the passage ends, the Pharisees went out and immediately held a council against him, plotting how they might destroy him.

Our press are like these Pharisees
