Elon Musk buys $3 billion stake (9.2%) in Twitter and is now the platform's largest shareholder

This all seems like a well-organized campaign to muddy up Elon and twitter to promote other social media startups. It's pretty obvious NY Times is all-in on astroturfing new social media.

It’s kinda entertaining to see someone so revered for being a “genius” to be exposed as a hack. Musk is not a business genius, maybe good at marketing. And for those who don’t know, he doesn’t have an engineering degree.

The emperor has no clothes.

He is a business genius, but what that means is that he has hits and misses. Big hits and big misses.

Tesla was propped up by billions in subsidies. Without those subsidies, I don't think his business would've been successful.

So like, the same as... General Motors, NASA, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, on and on?

You think NASA is a business?

Do you think NASA should advertise on disinformation platforms?

So did Kathy Griffin and another journalist for impersonating Andy Ngo

Serves these idiots right. I’m so here for this.

So free speech is bad now? I can’t keep up with you people.

You wanted him to moderate speech and he accommodated you. Smile!

They spoofed him to point out how ignorant he was about verification. He had to be shown that paying $7.99 for a blue check was not a substitute for the necessity of verifying that the person isn’t an imposter. He was so desperate for those $7.99 payments he was blind to the purpose and need for verification. Everybody told him but he was too stupid to listen, so they had to show him.

Then why are these people so hung up about their blue checks?

JFC. It’s not a status symbol. It’s verification. It means the identity of the person has been verified. It’s important to them because journalists and public figures are plagued by trolls and bots. Musk was planning to eliminate verification and sell blue checks. He’s a moron and didn’t understand why verification matters so they showed him as a joke. He can’t take a joke because he is crybaby.

They also become trolls apparently.

Elon bought Twitter to enable trolls. That’s his main purpose. He is a troll. He bought to so he and his fanboys can post disinformation.

Disinformation like a laptop?

Elon showed his intent when retweeted disinformation about Paul Pelosi. That’s when all the advertisers realized they needed to leave.

Remember last week when Elon said: “Comedy had returned to Twitter”?

LOL

He’s so thin skinned.

I think any organization should be free to choose where they do or don’t advertise. But if you read the thread NASA was in a list of businesses which benefit from government subsidies.

Reddit is amazing right now.

This is the best end to twitter:

everyone impersonate musk, get banned.

https://www.reddit.com/r/WhitePeopleTwitter/comments/yo6vjh/kathy_griffin_has_been_permanently_suspended_from/ivcq24n/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

Redditors have been running experiments to see what it takes to get banned. Apparently they are banning anyone running Elon Musk parody accounts, even with clear disclosure on the Twitter profile.

The guy flip flops within an hour.

Disinformation like pretending you are someone else, then promoting politicians and posting nasty things? That kind of disinformation?

They were mocking him, not deceptively impersonating him. Everybody knew it was Valerie Bertinelli, Kathy Griffin, et al. That’s why it was hilarious. He had mocked and trolled the verified accounts and said that a fee system wouldn’t need verification. They showed what a dumbass he is. He is losing.

The Left [now] considers identity theft, viral disinformation, smearing innocent people, libel, and slander to be "comedy"? Um, okay. Count me out.

Someone should look up these rival platforms’ investors. Exploiting the situation by promoting platforms they’ve invested in would be the exact thing these parasitic rags would do under the guise of “social justice.”

+1.

No wonder the right has no good comedians. They don’t get humor.

This should make you even happier. We wouldn’t want the spread of false info to go unpunished, would we? That would run contrary to the ends of social justice.

Wake up. Elon is a far-right tech bro on the spectrum who thinks it would be best to abandon this whole democracy thing because most people are too stupid to know what's best for them.

He's a Curtis Yarvin fan.
