He can't though. The Queen is the institution. They are one and the same. You're American and not part of the institution so it's fine that you don't see it that way but it's despicable that Harry does not. |
Is this a joke? |
So they're treating him like they would treat a woman?
|
If it’s a private funeral we won’t know who attends. If the Queen wants a big funeral then they will delay it. |
I'm not the PP you're responding to, but, given that he likely holds the monarchy responsible for his mother's death, I think it's understandable for HIM. I'm sure his grandmother, of all people, understands his particular psychology on this. |
Why? He has no reason to feel guilty and doubtful Phillip even knew what was happening. He's been out of it for awhile. |
That would be an incredibly stupid move if they did. It would make the BRF look terrible and affirm Meghan's claim that she was not treated well. |
Yes because Harry knew Phillip was going to die. |
A) It's being live televised B) They can't delay it - Covid restrictions are strict in the UK through May 17th. What do you think the Queen's going to do - freeze him? |
The same way Phillip was supposed to be dead a year ago when Harry first left the UK permanently? |
WTH with no masking?? |
I mean...when you put it that way it is. The only thing they left out was the picture of him holding the newborn he just gave birth to. |
Of course they're not going to do this. However, I seriously doubt Meghan will go. She's very pregnant and it's a pandemic. They've just announced that they don't want the public to gather and participate. Harry might fly over though. An aside - I met Prince Philip about 12 years ago. He was incredibly kind and funny. Very charming. |
Going without Meghan will help him talk to William alone. It could be a chance for the brothers to smooth some things over. They were very close to their grandfather. |
Two selfish people who ruined two or more lives with their infidelity. |
