Its going to be a massive deal next year - especially if he doesn't get a 'proper' funeral this year. I mean the Queen Mother's funeral had 200K mourners lining the road. In a normal time Phillip would have no less.

I mean, UK resident here again. It might not be a big deal the world over but in the UK, he will definitely be mourned on this day for many years to come. It’s a big deal - all the news channels have cancelled their regularly scheduled programming, there will be 8 days of mourning, politicians (from Labour to Tory) are giving tributes, people are going to put flowers at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle and Holyrood House... it’s a big thing.
