Rush has died

"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."

Republicans are obsessed with telling us not to believe any of the horrible things that various Republicans have said. I don’t know if it’s just some disbelief that their political heroes are godawful, or if it’s more of their insane belief that we’re too stupid to be trusted, but it doesn’t say anything good about them.

Not a one of these “conservatives” (aka anti-democratic reactionaries) has tried to refute a single one of the god awful quotes from the sewer’s own mouth because they know he’s just that awful and that’s why they love him.

He said what they think but were afraid to speak aloud.

Do some research on what Elton John thought about Rush. You might be surprised.
And, do more research on Rush's producer - Bo Snerdley - you know - that black man who worked with Rush all those years - and see what he thought about Rush..

I can't say I am surprised by the nasty hateful comments here, though.

Folks here are taking their cues from the disgusting coverage in the corporate media.
And, people wonder why the press is so despised.
They literally embrace terrorists while demonizing a conservative radio host.

Thread.....

you say that you are amazed that so many people have "huge opinions" of this guy that are outright false. as evidence of your statement that these opinions are false, you offer "see what Elton John and his longtime producer thought of him". are you for real? people here have quoted Limbaugh's own words, you can just go in youtube and see his videos, and I form my opinion on him based on what he did and said. why do you think I should conform to what his producer said? or Elton John? are you so used to following what the various Limbaugh, Carlson, Hannity tell you to think that you think that a good argument to convince another person of your point is "see what Elton John said?". maybe you should start thinking with your own brain

He celebrated the deaths of people from AIDS. He mocked someone with Parkinson's for their spastic movements. He told a Black woman to take the bone out of her nose and then call him back. He called a child who wasn’t even 13 the “White House dog.”

Etc etc etc

Those three things are enough to tell us his character.

He spewed vile every single say bringing our civic discourse to new lows.

Speaking is a verb PP. He spoke. And spoke and spoke and spoke. To the great detriment of us all.

He was the most successful radio show host in American history. If he sat on your side of the aisle, you would have adored him. Let’s be honest.

Fortunately, I’m not vile scum so I am glad he’s dead.

On my side of the aisle we don’t diminish people based on race, sexual preference or physical ability. So your point is.....pointless.

No, because no one on “my side of the aisle” that is as repugnant and vicious as that man, will ever be elevated and adored. We have standards. You don’t.
