I'm saying a lot of the minority voters in Georgia are working low-wage jobs which either won't give them time off to vote or they won't ask for it because people don't want to use their measly 2 weeks of vacation to stand in line for six hours to do their civic duty. And the GOP knows this.

In Europe Election Day is a national holiday in most countries. It should be the same here. People should be given the freedom and the incentive to do their civic duty and the GOP are cravens who should not be blocking absentee voting for any reason.

Georgia already did require ID and still does require ID. Maybe know what you’re talking about before you comment?

For primaries and general elections, counties would be required to have advance voting on both Saturdays and have the option to do it on the two Sundays that fall in the three-week period, too. Current law only mandates one Saturday of early voting.

People can bring their own water or snacks. Nothing prohibiting that.

The secretary of state referred to the practice as "line warming" - i.e., warming up the people in line to your position as you give them free pizza, for example. Raffensperger said in a statement that, "Political organizations looking to game the system should be forewarned that we will not tolerate efforts to electioneer near polling sites in violation of the law.”
He said he is sending out an Official Election Bulletin "reminding elections officials that Georgia law establishes a buffer zone around polling locations to 'create an atmosphere of calm and non-interference for voters who are contemplating exercising one of their most basic constitutional rights.'"
