Just going to put this out there - just because someone is a Democrat or a liberal does not mean they are not racist. Less likely? Maybe. But not out of the question.

Nope. He is a Republican. Trump supporter.

DP. In Bethesda? Based on demographics alone, the odds are against you.

The woman in central park is a democrat and in all likelihood, so is this guy.

Nope. Racist White man or woman - Republican, Trump supporter.

Educated White bystander who stepped in - Democrat.

Sorry, but you guys have sided with evil. You are Nazi party members. RIP to you but you are not Democrats.

He’s psychotic about social distancing. Therefore he must be a liberal.

Yeah. That guy is absolutely a liberal. The type who holds his wife's purse and walks meekly behind her at the Farmer's Market and later that day he's the same guy cutting in front of old ladies in the grocery store line. Definite issues. You can spot them from a mile away.

Did you see Amy Cooper’s (of Central Park infamy) political contributions? Obama, Mayor Pete, and lots of other well known Democrats.

White racist most certainly does not necessarily mean Republican.

I’m Asian, and I don’t wear a mask when outside bc I don’t want to be targeted. I do wear a mask when indoors at a store.

I'm so sorry, PP.

IT might be obvious to you but some people say they are not racist because they are Democrats.

THIS. Think of all the events that could have been defused (diffused??) if someone had JUST WALKED AWAY.

So, based on exactly zero information, you've made up a scenario that blames the son and the mom for "caus(ing)" the vulgar screamer's inappropriate and racist behavior. It's amazing how far people will go to excuse bad behavior in those that they identify with.

Unless you are wagering where the odds would indicate high likelihood a racist is a Republican.

Someone just a handful of posts said essentially the same thing by suggesting someone who is a racist is automatically a Republican.

That’s a substantial goalpost shift from the prior post.

And, if you are looking at odds, when you factor this happened in Bethesda, that increases the chances that it is a Democrat considerably.

Why can’t people just not be racist jerks? Think of all the events that could have been prevented altogether if someone had JUST NOT BEEN A RACIST JERK.

It doesn’t work that way either. I think that we have to be better than that. We have to be better than political parties and we have to be better humans overall regardless of walks of life or political points of view.

All of these disgusting racist incidents that have been popping up on the media make my blood boil. I hope this incident gets as much media attention as hate speech and racism against blacks.

Targeted for what?

I know quite a few Asians and have not heard anyone talking about being targeted.

I saw comments about being Jewish, from New York, etc. we don’t know what happened before the video was shot but for context Bethesda Bagels is within 50-100 feet of where the video was taken so I assume the bagels reference had something to do with that?
