PP. It's not an excuse. I don't mean he's mentally ill, just that he seems irrationally angry. As soon as he yelled "You're not my mother!" I thought, this guy is losing it, lady--back away slowly. I'm black, and I've encountered quiet racism, which in some ways is worse because it's not as apparent. This guy looks likely to fly off the handle and get violent.

He was going to fight her until the man stepped in, so he is violent.

He called her a Jap and said he would drop the bomb on her... which is racist.

I didn't see 5 people on that video. And how would you know they thought he was trying to fight her? And would that place them at substantial risk of death or serious physical injury?

It's easy to simply say a crime is committed, but in the real world a prosecutor would have to prove every element of a relevant statute beyond a reasonable doubt.
