So you talk about voting with people who work for your neighbor? You are so full of crap...
DP I’m in MoCo and my neighbor is a contractor. This is not far-fetched. MoCo doesn’t require IDs to vote. Your name simply has to be in the book. That’s why CASA de MD puts out video after video explains how undocumented immigrants can get driver’s license. Hell, these ads and videos come up in my Facebook feed, in Spanish - I guess because I live in a neighborhood populated by illegal immigrants. And yes, my neighbor does talk politics with some of the regular guys who work for him. I can guarantee you that none of them support Trump. It’s not a secret. |
I'm the PP you're quoting. I never said I spoke to her employees. I know this from knowing my neighbor. They work for her. Why would you assume I'm just talking to randoms who work for my neighbor? That's just bizarre. Are you medicated? |
BS on “contractor boss neighbors” talking about voting...
Of course. It doesn't agree with your world view, so it's a lie. Anyone who works in construction or landscaping, etc likely has lots of workers who are undocumented. It's not unusual to talk to your co-workers/employees. Not all of us are SAHMs who never mingle with the minions. |
About voting? Sure...
Wait, don’t you have to be a citizen to vote? How could someone even get their name on the voting books if they are not a citizen, let alone be here illegally. That doesn’t make sense. Or, do non-citizens have the right to vote?
WTF? My kids go to school in Silver Spring, and we know lots of families where the parents are undocumented. They are super interested in politics and follow it pretty closely. Or, are you incorrectly assuming that all undocumented immigrants are somehow ignorant? |
No, you do not. Depends on where you live and what the politics are. For example, College Park, MD: https://www.newsweek.com/immigrants-are-getting-right-vote-cities-across-america-664467 |
This article about Chevy Chase might explain further: https://bethesdamagazine.com/bethesda-beat/government/chevy-chase-town-council-votes-unanimously-to-allow-non-us-citizens-to-vote-in-local-elections/ |

Local elections, national elections, what's the diff?
In for a centavo, in for a peso! |
Personally, I don't want someone who is willfully breaking a US federal law to be voting on more laws for law abiding immigrants like me to obey. |
Yeah, but Dems do. That’s how they’ll get elected. Illegals, dead beats, and dead people’s voting cards. |
