wait, we're supposed to feel pity? He definitely killed one person and possibly a few others. Hard to feel much pity that he offed himself. |
| I'm so torn with his story. Yes, he clearly killed some people. Yes, that's awful and his choice. However his parents did a number on him. He was potentially raped as a child and hid his sexuality. He had numerous head injuries from a young age. Clearly his mind was severely injured. I don't think he's been in his "right mind" for quite a long time. Yes he still pulled the trigger but there's been so much damage... |
Me, too. He had an effed up family, and he was a very confused, hurt little boy trapped in a 6'1", 245 lb. body. He had so much talent. The whole idea of completely blowing that $40m contract with the top NFL team boggles the mind - he was given so many chances and opportunities that some like-talented boys only dream about. He was 20 years old, and the youngest singed NFL player at the time. He had no one watching out for him, only people using him, and I think that happens a lot - but they don't go killing people. What about Odin? He was almost pro. I feel like the fiance just wanted to use him for the money, be a beard, allow him to go off wherever (his "secret" apartment in another town was just one of his other properties, I think he had a place in Miami too - when "Miami" is raised in this context, it is hard not to think "drugs") and sell and use drugs.....she didn't pull the tigger, but she didn't help anyone but herself (hide evidence much?) The Miami place had drugs and guns everywhere on the regular, supposedly. She should be held responsible, in some capacity. Reading his attorney's book now, to get another side. Anyone else? |
| I'm curious as to what Odin knew. I am saddened by this, AH was a child who was abused in the worst ways and and then the outing was disgusting. Very sad when you think about his unrealized potential. It's one thing when the serial killer is a creep like Jeffrey Dahmer, entirely different when it is someone who people looked up to in some sense. |
It had to be that Odin knew AH was gay. I can't think of any other reason, unless it was drug or money related. There was another guy (can't think of his name now) who AH tried to kill, shot him in the head (he lost an eye), and he ended testifying against AH for immunity. If it wasn't for that guy (a known drug dealer himself), I don't think they would have had a conviction. |
PP here. If $40m wasn't enough for AH to be on the straight and narrow, there wasn't much hope. |
| I really don’t think Odin was killed because he “knew” something. Unless it was he knew something drug related. |
She had a child with AH. I can imagine she felt conflicted about her sister and her child's father. |
She seemed conflicted about how to get her hands on $40m - that’s about it. |
| His parting words to her ‘ you’re rich’ |
So, he offed himself to get the conviction erased so his baby mama wouldn’t have to work for a living. How valiant of him? |
+1 He not only made bad choices, he did so with (bad) foresight. |
I still can’t figure out why he was killed? |
| I’m with you. Don’t understand it especially since he was almost family. |
