Started Episode 2 last night. Fascinating. I want to wiki him so bad but don't want to ruin the documentary.

I'm on the first episode right now. Between this and Cheer, which I just finished, I really am not letting my kids do football/cheerleading someday. All these people just walk around permanently concussed.

My son was such a big fan and wore his jersey until he was convicted; always believed he was innocent. Without giving anything away, the show provides answers as to possibly why Aaron took his life.

I just bu fed this not knowing anything about this guy other than he was a football player in jail for murder. Wow. Lots of layers to it.

He was so much more than that. He was a sociopath who shot people willy nilly. He played football by day and lived gangster life at night. He had money, fame, talent and movie star good looks. And it didn’t make a lick of difference.

He also was sexually molested as a child and when they studied his brain he had the worst CTE they have ever seen.

I have no dog in this fight -- I don't watch football and can only identify professional athletes who've dated pop stars.

BUT this guy does have an interesting story: the abusive home, the brain injuries, the violent crimes, the repressed homo/bisexuality.

I watched the first episode and stopped. All of the claims made about his personal life felt invasive. I doubt anyone knows the truth and this seemed to sensationalize a very tragic story for everyone involved.

The “claims” about his personal life? They corroborate the stories of abuse and closeted homosexuality with interviews with people who knew the family, one of whom was sleeping with him.
