There is a sweet spot for potty training (2ish-3ish). Start too early and it will be a nightmare, start too late, it will be a nightmare.

Don't be cheapskate and serve only a cupcake and juice. It is not that expensive to order 2 pizzas, double cut it and serve the kids. Kids have different schedules on the weekends and some have lunch only at 1pm, some may have practice in the morning, hurried through breakfast and come directly to your party at 10am.

You can forget about the adults, your prerogative. Feed them if you wish or don't feed them. But absolutely feed the kids.
