She really does!
But every time I see her in one of these pictures, I can only imagine what she's thinking.... Like, "what the hell am I doing here? I'm standing next to the next King of England when just three years ago I was just hanging out minding my own business."
I truly think it's awesome and hilarious at the same time.

She's handled it with such grace, I'm impressed. My favorite picture of her is her walking with the future King as they left her daughter and his son's wedding together.

Class embodied.

And just before that when Charles offered Doria his arm. He looked gallant and she looked grateful. Camilla has really lightened up Charles and I suspect those two and Doria have a nice time together. Flame away but Charles never should have married Diana

No flames here. Honestly Charles dragged his feet until he was forced into a choice. He was a confirmed bachelor until age 33! There was absolutely no reason for that other than the fact that he liked having multiple girlfriends at once - Camilla was just one of them and the 'favorite'.

It is very dated. But if they update, people will complain about the cost.

No. It is ugly regardless of when it was put there. The colors do not go together at all. I can absolutely understand very ornate looks as we see in many, many palaces around the world. THIS is just terrible taste.

Totally agree. Charles and Diana were miserable, and it showed. Charles and Camilla always seem happy. The family seems to have learned its lesson, though. William and Harry were both free to marry whom they chose.

William and Harry would not have existed in that scenario so, as Joey would say, it’s a moo point.

It’s really quite noticeable. Their relationship must really be in a bad way. Sad. At least Kate looks nice.

She didn’t attend Louis’ baptism either.
Yes, it was important for her to be there for the heir and the spare, but not further down the line.

That's not true. If it was, she wouldn't have attended any of her other children's or grandchildren's Christenings which she has.

If the PP had bothered reading the thread, they would have noticed the Queen made a special effort to meet Archie when he was two days old already and she had a prior engagement on this date.

It was important to me that my grandmother came to my son's Christening, so I checked with her before I scheduled. I realize that the Queen probably has a busier schedule than my Grandma, but on the other hand, I had to take into account when the church was available, while I'm sure people were willing to flex for Megan and Harry!

I think she just doesn’t want to go to these boring christenings anymore and “prior engagement” is the excuse she gives. She also missed Louis’ christening so it probably isn’t just because Megan and Harry didn’t care.

She really does. I love her dress and shoes. And would kill for her legs.

This. The dress is *supposed* to look like a throwback style. It's very fashionable. Sometimes I wonder if the PPs criticizing her very elegant way of dressing would prefer her to look like this:

I mean we know you are the one and only person parroting constant praises of Kate. Is one post not enough for you? Seek professional help, you stalker!

Uh, nope. I'm not the PP and think she looks great. One could say YOU'RE the stalker.

I kinda think everyone looks annoyed in the photo. Kate seems to have the only genuine smile (although she's naturally photogenic). Not sure if it was as simple as the royal photog being a pain with lighting and re-takes or if everyone was grumpy/fighting/squabbling (days) leading up the photo.

I think everyone looks just fine in this photo. Honestly, the people trying to make a dramatic story out of a perfectly reasonable expression on William's face are bizarre. One snapshot does not indicate anything deeper is going on.

No, we'd prefer her to look like this -

The Queen of Spain knows how to rock modern elegance. Kate can barely color coordinate and heeps on peter pan collars, giant headbands, and lace like a 12-year-old.
