| So about that baby ... |
I think PP was joking about the person who started a bunch of threads about TS and wished more than anything that she and Harry would see each other and it would be love at first sight. That person had a real let down when Harry fell for Meghan. |
DP. Why would stand there rather than closer to the bottom of the stairs though ? |
That's a joke? |
The bold was an old series of threads. If you are new, you may have missed it. PP thought she was being called a racist and went off like the devil in church. |
| YThe baby is pretty cute, looks exactly like Megan’s dad |
Dp. How can you tell? We have barely seen him up close. Only thing up close was Harry's hand and his toes. |
He looks like his father, you can compare their christening photos. Archie's eyes are a bit wider but otherwise, very similar looks.

He looks white and that’s not surprising considering Meghan Markle’s ancestry make-up. According to Ancestry.com, the average African American is 65 percent sub-Saharan African, 29 percent European and 2 percent Native American. * According to 23andme.com, the average African American is 75 percent sub-Saharan African, 22 percent European and only 0.6 percent Native American. * According to Family Tree DNA.com, the average African American is 72.95 percent sub-Saharan African, 22.83 percent European and 1.7 percent Native American. * According to National Geographic’s Genographic Project, the average African American is 80 percent sub-Saharan African, 19 percent European and 1 percent Native American. So if Meghan’s mother has about 20% European DNA, Meghan probably has about 60% European DNA and then mixed with British aristocracy, it’s not surprising baby Archie is white. He’s handsome and their family is gorgeous. From what I can tell African American DNA is inextricably linked with European DNA, which means its easier in a few generations for someone to either become African American or White.... Examples: Meghan Markle or the Kardashians. |
You must not know many AA or mixed people IRL. Babies are typically born with very light skin that darkens with time. He will get darker. I'm sure he will be adorable, but he will look mixed (because he is). Some of my mixed friends babies look darker than their light skinned part. Genes are funny that way. |
| ^light skinned parent |
I don’t even think Megan looks “mixed” (basedon her true geneology) in many photographs. Granted she straightens her hair but I could take her for a Jewish gal or an Italian - not necessarily African American. She is beautiful, tho. |
Except that he isn’t really mixed race, his genes are primarily European . He may darken over time but I doubt it. Whether he darkens or not he will still be handsome. Meghan looks very Southern European and yes I do know many biracial people. I have family members who qualify as such.
|
+1, she is gorgeous. Meghan is not African American, she is biracial. It’s her mother who is African American. I don’t know if Meghan views herself as biracial or just African American. Based on the percentages above, I’d agree Archie will likely seen as white? There is nothing wrong with that or if he considers himself biracial. |
Ugh! Considering she has done nothing to be a queen but be born to two insipid people...I find her musings stupid! |
