FOX and others in conservative media seem heavily invested in pushing a narrative that it's "fake." You'd think that an honest investigative journalism outlet would have done such a detailed analysis. But they didn't. Shows you the honesty of the conservative media isn't quite there. They are more about pushing propaganda than real news.

There aren't many honest journalists, let alone honest journalism outlets. FOX has serious issues, but don't think those who hyped this Russia narrative (and made bank off of it), like MSNBC, WaPo, NYT, etc., aren't also seriously suspect.

Dossier fake. Investigation much needed. Back to rule of law. Sorry Dems.

There are many "citizen journalists" doing investigation into the claims of the dossier.

Here is one on Twitter who debunks some of the claims in the dossier using testimony, emails, and texts that have been revealed.

And, one more thing...........

Despite the nay sayers - FOX was more correct about the whole "Russian collusion" narrative than any of the other networks or left-wing print media.

Huh. So because Steele and/or some Russian doesn't know the difference between Miama and Tampa, it proves the dossier is fake.

Uh, what is the difference between Miama and Tampa? I don't know the difference either.

About 300 miles. And, the difference, culturally, is even larger.
You would think a Russian would know where the Russian Consulate is.
More importantly, you would think the FBI would know where the FBI consulate was. They should have recognized this as inaccurate immediately.

Yes, the FBI probably did. And?

And, yet they still used the information, including this false statement, as verified in their FISA warrant request.........

Nope, A Russian not knowing the difference between Miami and Tampa is not what they used for the FISA warrant. Again, at least 70% plus of what was in the Steele dossier has been independently corroborated and is now known to be true. There were only a few minor and insignificant, nonsubstantive errors proven. Still some items unproven either way. But far from being "fake."

Hasn't been proven fake. You keep saying that without any substance. Other investigative journalists have dug into some of the statements in the dossier and found that a lot of it is true. Nobody has actually ever proven it to be substantively fake.

Former top FBI lawyer James Baker says FBI was worried about appearing to be BLACKMAILING Trump with Dossier.

This is not good news for the Obama administration.

Uncorroborated does not equal fake.

Fake means fabricated or conjured up out of thin air.

And, much of the Steel dossier, at this point, has been corroborated, so where does that leave you?

No, they were trying to explain that the allegations of compromising information could be used as blackmail against Trump, not that they were trying to blackmail him. The problem was, Trump didn't say, "oh this is awful, let's get to the bottom of it, starting with contacts my people have had with Russians" - instead, Trump and his peopled LIED TO THE FBI about their contacts with Russians. The FBI knew this, hence the dilemma.

Agree! It was also started with publicly available information that was then followed up with interviews.
