Was OP married or just “engaged”? I’ve known many single moms who were “engaged” to their baby daddy but never married. Most had more than one baby daddy.

If your kids are under 3, you're going to be focused on meeting their needs 120% of your time. It's just the age. So, I don't think this leaves you much time for dating or a meaningful relationship. You are very young. I would take a break from dating and focus on raising them and building up my life. Then at 30, when they are older and more independent, and you are more established in your career, you can restart. Bonus is that at that point you should have access to better quality men.

One plus of already having kids is that you don't have to worry about the "biological clock" as much. You could literally not date until your kids are in college and still be in your late 30s and attractive.
