Kate Middleton glamming it up at the State Dinner

It’s off the charts.

Normal people can come on here and say “I like this about Kate, and I don’t like this.” And people can discuss and agree or disagree. But this individual is a one-way street. And you can’t have a thread without getting interrupted every other post with really cruel criticism. About aging, Botox, and work.

I really suggest blocking the person’s IP for a little while so the rest of us can have a fun discussion.

That Kate hater is so irrational and prolific.

Just ignore her.

Why can't you admit that there is more than one person commenting on her?! You need to stop policing threads, it's super tiresome and annoying.

I made the OP and then I also wrote the post that says "I hate to admit it but she is too skinny." Then later on I wrote "she doesn't need Botox she just needs to gain a few pounds."

Go back and count how many posts there are on Botox and her looking old. It's more than one person.

I wish Jeff would ban the Kate Super Fan. She is the worst. She thinks anyone who says the least critical thing about her is crazy.

Look, anyone with eyes can see that she has lines on her forehead.

You’re so predictable.

I agree.

But botox and fillers are crazy for a woman that young.

Why ruin your body like that?

They're clear as day and she's only 36. It's not common to be aging as fast as she is, especially when you consider how privileged and cosseted she is and how she has access to the best skin care in the world.

I think you are delusional if you think most 35-40 year old women don't have lines.

All of them do, especially the ones with children.

Kate looks her age.

Most women in this age bracket can’t afford expensive Botox, fillers and peels. Kate can do it’s pathetic she has lines.

She is smarter than those women who get botox.

Those botox women end up looking like frozen plastic monsters after a while.

There is zero reason for for a young, 36 year old to inject herself with botox. She is at the prime of her life.

Age gracefully, not like a science experiment.

+1. I literally don't know anyone who dabbles in fillers, Botox, etc. In my circles of professionals with graduate degrees, I imagine it would be seen as a bit of an unusual choice; some would consider it vain. I personally think "oh well" if someone wants to do it, but I don't get the criticism of those who choose not to, even if they're famous. I wonder who these PPs are, what they do for a living, and how they define themselves.

So what should Kate wear?

I actually posted that I think the dress from the waist down is awful, and agreed with someone (maybe you) who said she needs to gain weight.

But the virulent Kate hater is so irrational, predictable (like others have said) and tiresome.

Jeff actually has deleted some of her posts. I have reported some of them.

And guess what? She is actually posting from both sides just to stoke a fake argument over Kate (and also Meghan).

I reported yet another series of racist Meghan posts in another thread and I asked the moderator to delete by IP address if he didn't want to sift through the nonsense. Guess what? A whole bunch of anti Kate troll and racist Meghan posts got deleted, just based on IP. The troll who hates both of them is the same person.

She is so blatant and obvious and says the most ridiculous things (Deep lines! Looks like an old lady! Look how old she looks compared to this picture of 22 year old Diana!)

I personally think the fabric choice was unfortunate given all the ruching in the dress and gathers in the skirt, because it looked to wrinkly after she got out of her car. I am sure it was gorgeous before that drive. I would have gone with a silk satin vs that iridescent taffeta.

I also like kate in a more streamlined silhouette that accents how lean and athletic she is, or a traditional ball gown. The mermaid style, combined with the fabric type is not a good combination in my opinion.

Everything from the waist up looks beautiful though.

I don't care who says what. Just STOP trying to police the thread. Guess what, we're all adults. We can either ignore posts we think are dumb or we can politely disagree with them and continue the discussion.

BUT this continuous off roading into accusations about who is THE Kate hater and who is THE Kate super fan is so dumb. It's off topic and annoying. And it's obvious that there's more than one person posting on both sides.

I don't care about random DCUM posters or their motivations. I want to discuss Kate Middleton.
