I love Kate. Her wedding dress made me swoon. Until yesterday. Meghan got her beat, hands down, for pure elegance. I would probably say that they were equally lovely brides overall.

YES. And I love that she was in the shot during the vows, right behind Megan’s face. I think that was perfect that they placed her there.

Now that’s it has been a day and I’ve had time to dwell on it, I think I do like Meghan’s dress. I do not think it was as elegant and royal as Kate’s, but maybe that is the point.

They looked SO happy and beautiful together. Brought so many tears to my eyes, but I was not wowed by her like I was of Kate.

I wish her hair and make up were fancier...

Loved Meghan's dress but it was not properly fitted. It was too big. Kate's dress wasn't as elegant as Meghan's - obviously a much different style - but it fit her perfectly. I'll take a less attractive dress that fits well.

I love Meghan but her dress fit didn't do her justice.

Thank you! And yes, the level of crazy detail was what I meant to get at. Who cares if Meghan wore her hair up or down or sideways? Or if the bodice was too loose? Did you pay for the dress? NO. So shut up already!

Oh my! Here is a comparison of the evening gowns. Meghan's wins that one hands down. Kate really doesn't look very "young and modern" next to her at all!

I love the ceremony dress more today than I did yesterday. It looks spectacular on the photo shots at the top of the steps and walking down the aisle. I think her recent weight loss (probably caused by the stress from her crazy family stuff) probably could not be altered at the last stages. It supposedly has only six seams that were very delicately stitched to show as little as possible. I think you would have to completely undo the stitching to fit it again.

Agree for the evening dresses. Kate's looks weird and cone-booby. But the wedding dresses, sadly Meghan's fit horribly. I love the style and the woman is gorgeous but that dress was way too big.

While a pretty enough dress, it seemed a little too simple.

Meghan’s dress is more modern + stylish in my personal opinion.
Plus I think she is more attractive than Kate, so that makes a difference too in comparison.

Check out pictures of her smiling in the daylight. You can see all the little lines. I don’t know what you guys are thinking. She doesn’t have great skin. It’s fine, but she looks her age.
