It can happen even in text. My husband texted me one day and two words were too close together, so they formed an internet link. He clicked on it and it was a gay porn site, and we were shocked. He could have easily sent the text to one of the kids, because the words ( I can't remember them now) were some you would use every day in a text. We make sure that we double check our spacing before we send texts now, especially to the kids. Read to him, sing to him, cuddle him, take him outside and play with him, and get his mind off of what he saw, so that he doesn't dwell on it. Hopefully he'll be busy and distracted and will forget about it. I'm sorry that this happened, OP. I know it's upsetting, because I would feel the same way if my 12 yr old saw something like this, because he's still so innocent, and I would like to keep him that way for a while longer if I can. Nope, I would not be freaked out and neither would my kid to the point of crying and screaming. But then again, I have raised three kids and I am fully aware of the things that kids that age can run across. I can honestly say with a full and clear heart and mind that I wouldn’t be freaked out. I’d realize I would have some explaining to do, but I wouldn’t be freaked out. I’m pretty certain my kids wouldn’t cry and I sure as heck wouldn’t be crying for their lost innocence.
