That’s great! Progress is progress!

Rachelle here. Clocking in at 154.4lbs today, down from 160 on Jan 1! I have been pretty disciplined except for a 5 day trip to the Caribbean where I indulged, but didn't overindulge. I'm feeling like I am in a zone and want to continue February as no sweets, wine and 16:8.

Jan 1 - 204.0
Feb 1 - 190.6

Been eating fairly clean (low carbs), now sweets and no alcohol, drinking lost of water.
Been doing 16:8 IF (never been a big breakfast person anyway).
Working out on the treadmill 4-5 days per week.

I weigh myself every morning and keep track on an App. Little frustrated this week as the weigh loss has slowed a bit, but still happy overall with the loss this month.
Only roughly 30 pounds to go to get to my 160 goal. Just need to stick with it.

I haven't had any candy so far this year! Also no chips, cookies or pretzels which were my other vices. I've finally found a flavor of Halo ice cream I enjoy

Overall happy with my progress, but geez losing weight takes so much longer as you get older...

Question for intermittent fasters - I'm finding it really easy to do 2 times a week and like how it makes me feel. I'd like to up it to 3 or 4 but not sure how to incorporate workouts, which tend to make me hungry. Any advice on timing?

Haven't posted before, but today I am down 10.5 pounds since starting cutting calories on Jan 4th. I was at 178.5 and now at 168. I am trying to take things just a day at a time, but my pie in the sky goal is to get back into the 140s.

New poster too - ZG. Also 168 and wanting to lose 10-20. It IS harder when you're older. Ugh!!

Still haven’t gotten on a scale, but getting into my sports bra is no longer an Olympic level effort.

Jan. 3:142.1
Feb. 3: 138.1

Not as much as I’d like but I’m in a flare of my IBD and can pretty much only eat carbs. I’m not snacking though so that’s a good change.

Rachelle here. Frustrated. I lost 6 lbs in Jan by eating low carb, keeping calories under 1400 a day, some IF, heavy lifting and no booze. I'm still doing alll that and haven't lost a pound in 2 weeks. Ugh.

Loss has stalled here as well. Today - 190.2, less than 0.5 lbs in the last week.
Ate poorly over last weekend due to birthday party and super bowl.

I do 5:2 as well and just eat one meal on my 2 fast days, directly after my workout (lunchtime). That seems to be the key to sticking to 500 calories.

I think 4:3 is reasonable but I would not go farther than that!

I went from 162 on Jan 10 to 151 today (Feb 9). So gratifying to watch the baby weight drop off now that I’ve weaned my last kid! I’m sure that’s probably the biggest factor in the weight drop...stupid hormones.
