A family of 6 and just one large pizza?

What about asparagus? And what would be the appropriate number of spears per slice?

One third clearly

NP. I*love* green beans with any “red sauce” meal, but only uncut/long green beans from a can, uncooked. I could eat cold canned green beans literally every single day/every meal.

I have no idea why you dragged up this old thread, pp, but I am glad you did. It's halarious

I ask because this is not normal. I do know of people who do this though. And every one of them has an eating disorder or weird relationships with food.

A salad is normal to eat with a pizza. My family always orders veggie pizza so we at least get some vegetables while eating it. But green beans as a side for pizza? No. And I am a skinny adult female and can eat 3 pieces easy. But definitely two every time. One slice of pizza is not enough for anyone.

I am so tired of people on this board and the Diet and Exercise board equating smaller portions/reasonable portions with "having an eating disorder."

A slice of pizza, a salad, and maybe one more side like a bit of fruit salad or a green vegetable like broccoli--that's a meal for me. That's a satisfying meal for me.

Could I "easily eat 3 pieces," too? Yes. But I'm not going to feel simply satisfied after that--I'm going to feel overly full, and I'm going to feel bloated the next day. There's no pleasure in those after-effect feelings for me.

If 3 pieces of pizza is your normal, great for you. But one slice with relatively healthy sides is just right for me, and you can stop it with the "eating disorder" stuff right now; you're obnoxious.

LOL. Who cares. No one.

There's so much sodium in saturated fat in a single slice of pizza. Eating 3 slices, esp if it has meat on it, is just not healthy.

Back in the 90's,a good friend of my dad owned an NY style pizza joint, and we would get some decent discounts and such.It was maybe a twice a month thing at most.It was 4 of us,and we got this massive pepperoni and sausage pizza.2 slices each, and sometimes a salad to split.Nobody left hungry nor fat,and the pizza was great.

We do one large (currently a family of 3). We each have two slices and salad. The other two slices are fair game if anyone wants them, but they usually end up with one as DH’s breakfast and the other as DD’s school lunch. Plain cheese right slice NY style.

So, if you were a family of 6, not 3, one large pizza would not be enough, obviously.

Yes. Congrats that you can multiply.

Not sure why this odd thread has been revived. Slow day I guess.
